- Coleman non-stick cast iron griddle is one of the best purchases for camping. We used to bring pans to camp, now we just need a griddle and a bbq lid. We put it on the Coleman stove or camp fire directly. It fits our stove very well. After use, don't rush to turn off the heat, add water gradually and wipe off with a kitchen towel, no need to use detergent. While the griddle is dry, simply spray or brush some oil on the surface of griddle.

Yes, griddle is so convenient for camping, We cook everything on it during camping, breakfast, making our own bread, pizza, steak, japanese teppanyaki and even reheat spaghetti. Now we don't need to bring multiple pans to camping. One griddle is enough for 6 ppl camping. Cheers !

Yes, this Coleman non-stick cast iron griddle is a must to buy for camping. We cooked pizzas on campfire, baked bread for breakfast, steaks and steamed potatoes,too.

this one seems to be better than the lodge- it has a higher lip for grease trapping. But the splatter is crazy!

Do you smell or taste fuel in your food when you cook on the side of the cast iron griddle that previously operated toward the flames of the Coleman gasoline stove?

Sorry for the late reply. I wasn't sure where the campsite was. I think that was arrowhead provincial park. Pizza on the griddle on the campfire was absolute a great idea, just remember to bring a lid, you can make your own bread and pizza on the campfire. Yummy.
Anyone have a link to buy this? I can’t find this exact one anywhere. It looks like it fits the Coleman stove perfectly, which is what I’m looking for.

Hi, thank you for the comment. I purchased it on Amazon.ca When I found it on amazon, it was out of stock, so I set up an alert for this product, once it is on stock, I ordered it. I ordered it in the late fall and arrived in winter time.

Why do you use cooking spray if it's non-stick ?
That's all we had in the shelter, I remember we were waiting for rain to stop. And cooking spray is less oil , less fat, too.
Do not use steel on cast iron ..
I literally cringed when I saw him using that 😬
If seasoned properly it's fine. I have dozens of pieces of cast iron and have never harmed a pan, pot, griddle, or Dutch oven with metal utensils.
Steel on teflon, definitely not, but steel on cast iron I've never had any problems.
