Wow ! I didn’t realize that Alice Walker had such an issues . It explains a lot about the “The Color Purple “ and In Search of her Mother’s Garden. And I see the effects of Rebecca’s lifestyle and relationships with her partners and her children.
I went to that cafe once or twice. Totally overpriced, and people used to observe that the wait staff were all either mixed race and or Latino. Looking not unlike Rebecca. This when the neighborhood was still more black, less gentrified, so...
I used to go to that cafe before I had my own dialup connection at home. It was on the corner, painted orange on the outside. I remember walking in and being in awe at all of the computer stations. This was way before Kinkos knew Brooklyn.
I have a narcissistic mother so I understand perfectly. Having a narcissistic parent is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. If one has a normal relationship with their parent it's hard for them to understand how it feels. It's like a parallel universe where everything is upside down. The only way to preserve sanity is to break off communication because their only objective is to hurt you through feeding their narcissistic supply. They weren't loved growing up and aren't incapable of loving anyone and they're quite miserable.

Mother and daughter fighting over the same woman (or man) is crazy to me.
Errr. I don’t think the Daily Mail has ever been respectable 😂. Interesting content as always. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds like neither of them are ok
All those things should stay private...we are not suppose to know all that...
Good video, thank you.
They've been reconciled for some years now!
