Guess who provided the rail specs and body reinforcements ????? this guy .. I have the conversations saved with me providing the specs of the rack and request for different material as well as rack support . i find it really funny that everytime i made a design request literally a week before i get mine in i see your video with those design specs. Last time it was the pink color , then i was un happy with certian specs of that and sent them my diemnsion requests including pick up tooth thickness, rack width increase, material change , and piston reinforcements. But something to note... DO NOT trip your antireversal latch to disassemble your gearbox with this style piston because the sector gear will slap back and smack into that new piston support. do it enough times and it can break half the material off. but during my prototyping and development i actually did destroy the pick up tooth support and the piston NEVER failed. I stress tested it with over 70K rounds witha m160 DSG i just want the world to know where these improvements originated from.
and to be clear i kept tripping my anti reversal latch to disassemble maybe 10-20 times . and with half the support broken off becaus e of my user error,, piston never ever failed
That's interesting. 2 years ago I spoke with them and suggested they change the design, even sent them a well-known pdf design file for them to work from, just assumed they were working from that. As for them selling the product to other retailers you will need to take it up with them and a Chinese lawyer I would imagine? In regards to the pick-up tooth thickness, what gearboxes and gears did you test with? I ask as I've found ZCI Advanced gears have a slightly larger OD that SHS, need to test a few more combinations, but have already found combination that doesn't play nicely with the design.
