I have made a couple of parting tools like this but from different blades & quite surprised at the difference between them. One has a tip quite parallel to the blade whereas the other is more angled up & this one is a lot more aggressive & difficult to use so I prefer the flat one.
Yes, that's right.👍 It's right to grind diamonds. I don't have a diamond, so I made it into a WA(Aluminium Oxide) stone. Use diamonds to sharpen the carbide tip 😀
Great build , i plan to build one too, but will make maple or ash handle scales like a knife
