- PSG 2-3 BARCELONA: 5 THINGS WHAT HAPPENED!
Barcelona are back to the big game! The win over PSG on the road turned the Catalans into the favorite of the tie and the Champions League in general. Thus, in this video, Vamosito channel will tell you about 5 things that made it possible for Barca to get this crucial victory!

Perfect organization
The first thing worth noting is Xavi's approach to organizing the game in defense and attack. The broadcasters, as usual, showed us that Barca would play their classic 4-3-3 formation, while in fact the Catalans did not use it at all.
This is no longer new to the blaugrana fans, but for neutral audiences, this structure may be quite surprising. The fact is that in the attack, Barcelona was switching to a 3-2-4-1 formation.
This is a typical Xavi tactic, but it was also perfect for the match against PSG. With the Raphinha-Gundogan-Lewandowski triangle in the central attacking zone, the Catalans overloaded the Parisian midfield. This was one of the opponent's weaknesses, as none of the midfield trio of Vitinha-Ruiz-Lee is a defensive-minded player. Without a doubt, they are very strong in creating, but often failed defensively.
When PSG attacked, Barca defended in a classic 4-4-2. This allowed them to remain compact and also provided a backup against Mbappe and Dembele on the flanks, with Raphinha and Yamal constantly helping Kounde and Cancelo.
So as we can see, Barcelona did not use a 4-3-3 at all, and Xavi's system continues to work. Like this video if you appreciate Xavi's flexibility and would like him to stay at Barcelona!
Shining Raphinha
Of course, when we talk about Barcelona's victory, we must first mention Raphinha's Man of the Match performance. The Brazilian played one of his best games in a Barca shirt.
He scored the Catalans' first two goals, and in both episodes, he did a superb job. In the episode with the first goal, he chased the team's attack, found free space in the opponent's penalty area, and once he got the ball, he calmly sent it into the net.
The second goal was even better. The Brazilian reacted to a pass from midfield and scored a beautiful one-touch goal. It should be noted that in this episode Raphinha broke into the opponent's penalty area through the center - this is where Xavi's tactical idea with Raphinha as one of the two tenths worked once again.
By the way, these two goals were the Brazilian's first career Champions League goals. Congratulations!
However, Raphinha was named Man of the Match not only for his goals. In general, his performance was incredible. A huge workload, great offensive actions, opening up between the lines and constantly creating problems for the opponent's defense.
In addition to 2 goals, number 11 had 6 shots in total, 3 key passes, 2 dribbles completed and 2 duels won. Wow!
Raphinha is exciting, he’s really fantastic… if you see how he’s pressing, always trying the best, - praised his player Xavi after the game.
As you can see, the coach emphasizes not goals but the Brazilian's work-rate.
Keeping Mbappe quiet
I'm ready and I am prepared as usual. I am not going to hide, - said Kylian Mbappe before the match.
Well, this aged well. Barcelona completely took Kylian out of the game, and this factor in the victory cannot be underestimated. First of all, the team's right-back and right center-back - Kounde and Araujo - who worked hardest against Mbappe and backed each other up perfectly, should be praised for this.
We can compliment each of them, but let's single out Jules Kounde, who played against Kylian directly for the entire 90 minutes:
5 clearances
3 recoveries
7/9 ground duels won and
2/3 aerial duels won
Bravo, Jules!
However, it was not only the defensive line that worked to restrain Kylian, the whole team did. The Frenchman sometimes changed his position on the pitch, but failed to find a weak spot either in the center or on the right side of the attack.
The young Cubarsi acted perfectly against Mbappe occasionally. This blocked shot alone, which, although it was done by Kylian from offside position, showed Pau's quality.
Pau Cubarsí is an incredible player. He’s been world class... guys, it’s not normal for a 17 years old to perform like that! I ran out of words to praise him. He competes like an older player. It’s just insane, - Xavi was extremely pleased after the game.
The same goes for Lamine Yamal, who rather failed in terms of his offensive performance, but worked hard in defense: he entered 10 duels, winning 6 of them.
Kylian's stats are the best indication of how well Barcelona coped with him:
0 goals
0 assists
0 shots on target
13 times possession lost
2/10 duels won and only
1/4 dribbles completed
Mbappe has a lot to think about before the second leg and the upcoming transfer to Real in general. - Спорт
HISTORY WON
PEDIGREE WON
THE BIGGER CLUB WON
MOST IMPORTANTLY FOOTBALL WON. 🏆 🎉❤❤
Jobs not over yet man...
U celebrated to early
It's the same Xavi that masterminded the 4-0 and 3-1 victory over Madrid
the game is no yet over as barcelona let us not relax PSG wil come with full force keep your heads up keep fighting till to the end barca forever GO barca Go
W man I like that some fans realize that. I too have been saying this it’s not over yet until we put this game to bed hopefully at the mont juic
That's what erike said
That return leg is going to be do or die match, but nothing like do or die in football match, who will loose will loose
@@ominiekwe7241 true who will lose will lose and also he said that it’s a final but I disagree because you don’t go into a final with a 1-0 advantage which I think will play a huge part in the second leg
Next time, punctuation your text
100% sure we are going to semis
Xavi the Master mind
Football fans has become the reason why we do not get the best out of coaches. Xavi will have my support till I die. Xavi Henandez ❤️❤️❤️
I think every fans should learn how to back their managers or players than ruining them because that's nature how things moves in the world sometimes good or bad.
So great information thank you.
Great video....we want more😊
I want Xavi to stay at Barcelona he is the right person for Barcelona 🎉
In the beggening and the middle of the season we hated him so much we were saying the worst things about him and now he is making history with barca but he still want to leave. We are bad fans man
frenkie was good but he must dare more. it looks like he care more about his pass complete percentage rather then giving the impactfull ball. he is great and one of the players i like most but he gotta dare more
True cubarsi’s passes were way more important but it was his first game in a bit
I think, for PSG match, the idea was not to loose pass in the middle because of fast attackers of PSG.
Frenkie should dare more in general, but against PSG he played super smart in my opinion.
He just got back frm injury wtf is wrong wit u😂
Bro your talking about dare did you understand his role in that match or you just talk cuz you wanna talk?
@@nuuqbgghe needed to because we know a single mistake would’ve costed us with either kylian, dembele, or barcola. 2nd leg we at least need 2 goals to be comfortable
It was a really tough 🔥
This win was great we can celebrate but it’s not over yet we have to come to the Mont juic stronger and better than we were last game and finish this game hopefully 🙏
Sweet rotations let's go yesirr
Yahh... But they didn't had hakimi on their match who will be joining on the second leg... Similarly Christensen and roberto won't be there for the second leg which is a huge miss.... As we know Christensen is an important CDM and we really don't have a replacement for him in the second leg... Where as PSG will be having there full squad with a more dangers mbappe and dembele... So its no time to chill
Hakimi or not, bring it on!!! There is no difference, bcoz psg play at barca home and dollaruma will get more clumsy play away game. More pressure on them
but osg dont have a proper cdm ball winer either they play vitihna at number 6 so i think xavi was tryna match enrique
This match really showed psg that we own them 💙❤️
I hope we win the champions league & Xavi stays inshallah 💙❤️
❤
❤
❤
😂
after the game iwas shock of 3-2 win over psg the best part is that is at away
5 things well more than 5 though
Organization next big thing🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It’s not over yet guys. He will be fighting till the end!! Visca Barca Visca Catalunya
It is true Barca played well in Ist leg but we should not hype this performance as the tie is not over and still there is a second leg. So anything can happen 😊
🐍 dembuz
4-4-2 ,Works well if we have someone like Lewandowski
Xavi all the way
PSG is a club where they bring alot of top talent but has no chemistry
xavi is the best ❤😍😊😭🤧❤️🩹👏
Visca Barca
Sure Deal Barcelona z in semis
Cubarsi is good but i found a flaw in him! every time he slides he does it with his right foot even though sliding with his left would help him reach the opponent sooner, its like he doesnt feel comfortable sliding with his left foot, i noticed this yesterday which is a big problem specially in the goal and in the strike that ter saved and later hit the post...
eventually one of the coaches who watches film will notice and if not he’ll learn from mistakes, he’s only 17 still
He is a right foot player there's more power to his right foot than the left, the tackle will start being slow if he starts using left, it's not a flaw rather he's always ready when he wants to tackle the opponent.
Yes naturally as right person you will always be comfortable with your right leg or hand, the same thing apply to person with left foot
It's about which leg he does things better and also feels comfortable..
@@johnn7204 I dont think that's true, elite players can slide with both feet and it doesn't make them slower it actually makes them faster...
Imagine a attack of vini, mbappe and Bellingham 😅
This match doesn't have relation with Madrid
USE YOUR BRAIN 🧠😂
Cubarsi pocketed mbappe even before he became a galactico 😂
So, why didn't that attack overhaul or dismantle Man City at Bernabue?
With that fearsome attack, against Man City, it was an own goal, a reflection and a normal goal...while Man City had all normal, clean goals.
