Fil you are doing an amazing job and thank you for once again hosting. I don't know if it would be helpful to create a google doc and let everyone input their category, speed, and link to video. It might be hard to prevent people from spamming the doc.
Man! You just threw down the gauntlet in forcing us to pick a side; the way of the brushed or go to the dark side of the brushless...Who would have thought this would be the toughest part of the challenge. Hmmmm.... Gonna need to think about this one.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but it can get out of control, quick. As long as I stay on top of it all daily, we should be good to go.

I did my first ever speed run today and tagged you, so I hope you'll pick it up for next week's update. I'm only a few weeks into the hobby and I'm loving it so far. I'm making lots of mistakes (like getting hooked on it in the first place!) but it's a fantastic learning journey that I'm on 😀
Congrats to everyone for their runs so far. Some crazy speeds out there and I love the content it is generating for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately we had some lipo connector 'issues' this weekend so wasn't able to get our 3s run in..... (it was so much simpler back in the day when everything ran on standard Tamiya plugs!! 🤣)

Oh wow I didn't know that someone had gone over 100mph! Need to check that out. After my brushed test runs so far I don't think that Mark has much to worry about but hey I'm beating Rob and the squirrels so far 😁 Great work with bringing all this together. Hey I don't know if you saw my other comment but next year (if you want to do it again) what about DT--01, DT-02 and DT-03's but you must run off road so grass and dirt only? Most people have a sports field or golf course they can get onto. Just an idea. Cheers for now 😁

I didn't get my run in on time this week. But, i just posted next week's run, which will likely be my last run this year. My car is beaten pretty badly, but who knows, maybe I'll squeeze in one more before it's over. The run I just posted won't put me at the top or anything, but it'll move me up a bit. What a blast this is! Looking forward to next year too!

It’s a good idea and great to see everyone else’s efforts, another great comp by yourself that’s taken off! Hey dumb question does an ebay special TT01 carbon fiber conversion kit count?
This has come up before, and we had to say no to the Ebay special. It creates an unfair advantage and takes away from the spirit of the comp. Besides, check out Mitchell Miner. He's smashing 100 + mph runs over and over on a VERY stock TT-01. 💨💨💨
