- My third taunt kill movie!
This time, I've attempted to make it short and sweet, rather than long and average. All the taunts that didn't make it to this video might appear in a rejects video soon, just so they aren't wasted.
- First song is TF2 Rock Version by Koolfox.
- Second song is Garden Party by Blarsa.
(You can download them both from Newgrounds).
- Third song is the Worms World Party theme, by Bjorn Lynne (thanks DoctorMelon for this). Probably owned by Team17.

Yeah, the Medic has a taunt kill now.
However, you can't just kill people at any height in front of you.
I was able to get those kills because the Medic taunt is the second taunt to be implemented, after the Heavy's, which is aim-able, and it has quite a good range too.
The way I do it is this:
While already cloaked, quickly right click, press G, and right click again, in very quick succession.
Doesn't always work, and it's kinda weird to get used to, but you should be able to grasp it after a while.
I agree, the Scattergun is generally better :)
I use the Force-a-Nature in all of my taunt kill movies though, so I can reach a high up area and get a taunt kill where an enemy isn't expecting it.
(Case in point 1:07)

If I was a serious Soldier player, I assume I'd use shotgun, but I hardly play him, so I just like to rocket jump around a lot when I do :D

sure you can do nice jumps with the FaN, but that doesn't make it any less of a nooby weapon.
Last time I checked, you can't do jumps like that if you're using the Scattergun =)

The Worms World Party theme was composed (as were all the other Worms themes) by Bjorn Lynne, who did the work for Team17 - I'm not entirely sure who still owns the music, but I'm betting on Team17 :P
holy shit this is just so awesome. I mean, it was already epic, but the little bit of nostalgia i got worms music made it one of the best things ive ever seen. looking forward to more of your videos!

From all the Taunt Kill vids I've watched, I've just realized something.
All Pyro taunt-killers use flareguns for some reason.

Unfortunately you are wrong :D the pyro's taunts are the same regardless of what weapon he/she is holding.
Or this was filmed when the Gunboats could prevent you from killing yourself.

XD hilarious, i love getting taunt kills, but i damn sure can't get em like you can.
my favorite one though had to be on a demoman right after the war update...he had the targe, charged at me at the perfect moment....i was using my sword taunt and he charged right into it XD
just outta curious though.....how do you do the taunt kill with spy while clocked? i've seen some folks do it, and i'm pretty sure its a glitch, but i don't know HOW they do it, be great for taking out sentrys when the engie ain't looking...

Most people that try to taunt kill use the FaN because you can reach places where you are not expected to be and can reach some places unseen.
Dammit people, I know how to do the rocket jumper/equalizer taunt. It's just that combo isn't effective in public games, I want a taunt where the soldier can keep his strong primary but with the power to taunt kill.

Pyro taunts: Axe - Guitar playing
Flamer - Victory pose
Flaregun/shotty - Hadouken
So the heavy needs to be using fists to get his kill taunt.

As for the video, if these are the good kills, I'd love to see the "average" ones.

So apparently the Medic's tauntkill has a little bit of range upwards and downwards. The more you know!
use rocket jumper -_- your like a bird if you do and also hist taunts are one of those special multple killers and is the only one that can kills sideways that why its sacrificial
Loved the video man. I've been trying to get the hang of taunt kills for while. any tips or tricks ? :3 and another thing. is it the normal cloack watch or is it cloack and dagger.
Wait a minute. Is this new? You can taunt kill someone no matter what height? And the medic has a killing taunt? Man i must start playing this game again. Haven't played in 2 weeks
Sadly it doesn't. I think that you could be able to do it on the console versions, but that needs REALLY good timing, in addition to luck (to supply your game of folks).
I saw your comment but that raises another question. While that does indeed work, the Rocket Jumper was added in September 2010. This video was uploaded in January 2010.
did you even bother to watch the video in some cases he had the rocket jumper and he didnt die and in other cases he had the direct hit and died with the taunt kill Jeez

@diegoyeyyo When pressing the tauntbutton, spin your mouse as fast as possible to make a 180 turn.
So a rocket launcher that does 0 damage, for shits and giggles you can use that. I want a taunt kill that doesn't require that I need 2 weapons in order to do it.

I think he was wearing the Gunboats, because there was a small glitch before 2011 or so where you can survive that taunt whilst wearing them.
@BillyByeah Before they fixed it, the Gunboats used to reduce the explosive damage from the grenade taunt too. They don't reduce it anymore.

I rarely play TF2, but i think it's because that's the weapon they have to have to use that taunt.

With rocket jumper yes, but all you can with it is rocket jump, and you can't do much in games other than trying to taunt kill people
i made my 1000th kill, the one to earn the hardcore achievement, a tauntkill
got killed a good amount of times, but it was worth it

Old glitch with the soldier, Gunboats and an overheal could survive. But that isnt possible, just use the rocket jumper

what's up with the soldier taunt kill and u surviving??? is that why they patched the equalizer and no healing thing??

and thats the main reason why i use huntsman. Fun times with the taunt kills
@BillyByeah it was a glitch that they have removed now, and thats very sad :(
i know this is 4 months ago just saying that there is no point in using rocket jumper now that you have gunboats

What makes this video different from others? Well, for one thing, its' got awesomeness written all over it.
i learned a lesson from this, when spy and cant do anything do the uncloak taunt and cloak right away thing :D

Are you sure about that or do you just think it could be like that? Maybe it's just a special server.
And what about speed? I think there was a trick, if you keep pressing something, you will do not die.

U cant do the spy thing anymore and u cant survive the equalizer taunt with gunboats anymore either

Epic! And although the medics taunt looks the best you can only kill 1 person at a time. Pyro ftw =)
many of those are fakes.. like scout and spy heavy and spy and so on

You can survive the Kamikaze taunt with an Ubercharge or if you have the Rocket Jumper equipped.

@Einstreit You wear the gunboats and they absorb enough of the taunt damage that you can survive.
Medic taunt kill has no special icon yet so it just looks like you got a normal Ubersaw kill :(
But that's wrong.
That launcher is the direct hit.
The correct item to use are the gunboats.

I once ran out of ammo while übercharged... so I taunt killed a guy. That was pretty sweet.
it does work with the rocket jumper too though, you take 0 damage from your own explosives

the way i get taunt kills as scout is with the milestone loadout:FaN,Bonk! and Sandman
Check the date, this came out before Engie Update so he couldnt tauntkill with Engie
What was that ctf pirate ship map called? (The one where he taunted with the medic)
this game should have kill cams (and no...i dont like cod) so everyone could laugh
