    Hey Goatis, what do you think about Paul Saladino's video "Managing Iron Overload with Phlebotomy"? He uploaded it about 2 months ago. He of course must be doing something wrong as phlebotomy is unnatural but since he follows a diet i suppose you mostly agree, what do you think is the problem? Thanks!

    • @jewelsbarbie
      @jewelsbarbie Рік тому

      I would also like to hear what he thinks about Paul’s iron overload management. Have you experienced iron overload on carnivore?

    • @melisand8295
      @melisand8295 11 місяців тому +2

      Iron overload would generally be associated with haemochromatosis a genetic mutation that means the body is fabulous at scavenging iron. Too fabulous in that your iron and ferritin levels are far too high. The body can then begin to store it in terrible places like the brain and the heart . Management is usually having blood taken. If you're concerned this is a 'see your GP' situation for a diagnosis. My mother simply refuses to eat red meat and manages hers that way. Does pose some interesting problems for a carnivore diet.

    • @GoatisReviews
      @GoatisReviews  Рік тому +3

      I used to drink milk pretty much every day but after I went vegan, I could never tolerate it again really. I think that if you continue after breastfeeding then you will probably tolerate it your whole life.

      @@GoatisReviews Interesting. I stopped drinking milk for a while when I followed a more plant based diet but it's still easy for me to digest it.I had the idea it might has to do with the food the cows consume or maybe the medicals they receive. Many people who claim they are lactose intolerant primarily drink cheap, over heated milk from the super market, so there is maybe a connection.
