I think it's actually easier than Vortex in that regard, as long as you don't mind the heaviness of course. Vortex took me a couple days, but then rapidly climbed up to be one of my favorite tracks, while Mediator actually was a lot easier to get into right from the start.

It also took me many listenings to like it. But once I listened multiple times I finally "got" it and then I loved it! It was simply too complex for me to get it all at once. This was an especially dense serving of Jinjer.
Pretty sure there is some storytelling in the video too. If we look at Tatiana's quote about the meaning: “I’m always ready to do some psychology and self-analysis. The result I got was "Mediator”, which has to do with compassionate, sensitive people. I feel this is basically another word for “introvert” or “wallflower” - it’s all connected. But the song is about when I was younger. I was an idealist. I wanted to see things as perfect and people as kind. But the reality is harsh. You grow up and you realize you still have a lot to learn - a lot of lessons that can’t be taught in school. Life lessons." We can see Tatiana hasn't got the best worldview / view on humans, which certainly is not new to whoever listened to their other songs either. But in this case I would say the Tatiana in the green dress is her innocent / naive self, while the one in the sporty clothing might be her older or even traumatized future self, as they all seem to also have grey highlights in their hair (except Vlad, of course :D). So I would say the dominant (Dita Von Teese?) version of her are those cruel and harsh life lessons that try to bring you down. Some parts of the lyrics also seem to relate to us destroying our environment, which would not surprise me as she did some environmentally aware tracks on the Cloudfactory album already, and Ape and The Prophecy also have some similarly related undertones too. If the rest of the songs are up to the standard of the first two we've got, then this is going to be a legendary album.

I have seen the shooting of a similar video. In that case, they did it with drones zooming rapidly through the set (a large warehouse). There was more than one and the band interacted with them in the same way they might a hand-held camera. It was pretty awesome to watch. The effect was similar so I imagine the technique was similar. For the bass shot, I'm guessing it was a go-pro or similar camera attached to the bass.
