One of the hardest and best days of my life! Thanks Couer d'Alene and Ironman for an amazing experience!

14:16 "I train very little" - says the guy in peak physical form ;) I'll attribute this to a good attitude about always being able to push yourself harder

There is a science behind training as little as possible. Matt Dixon, head coach of Purple Patch Fitness, uses it on his athletes where he got people to even qualify for Kona with only 10 hrs of training a week. Of course you are going to need to have a very good base built up before you start doing that.

Not a fan of the music at the beginning (opening song). Doesn't match or compliment video or IM brand.

'The Powers' music is local band and a cool group of people, so they were just getting some exposure.

I heard someone saying that racers love the CDA course, but once people did it a couple times they did not feel the need to come back to do it again. This year only had 800 people sign up versus 2,000 - 3,000 just a few years ago.

      ivel501 ... wow! that's a great shame :-(
Lovely course & lovely local people too.

CDA screwed up big time with losing this event, was the one event that could have helped act as a bridge to usher CDA into a level of more tourism prominence. Now CDA is just another small crap town. Saying it had no economic benefit just shows how small minded the people in office are.

Because we end up payin 50k every year to have a bunch of pompous pricks come throw energy bar wrappers all over town and hold up traffic. Fuck ironman.

im not sure i like this years videos nearly as much as the past. Seems like they have a new production company. Almost seems like armature vs professionals. but that is just my option. I really liked 2015 and 2016 videos.

i like the videos and shots, just the narrative is a bit odd.

Well, I hope you like some of the drone aerials at 12:45.. that was me! :) I did not edit or submit any other shots though.

yes!! i think the drones are awesome shots, and most of the shots are awesome, i guess the narrative is a bit weird. Awesome job on the drone shots, i know that is not an easy feat!
