How is this an "emergency" procedure? An emergency would be the top is open, the battery has died, and the rain has started. In my Camaro convertible you open the trunk, open a valve and pull on the top to close it.
hello i had problems with the sliding roof of my vw eos. the problem was the nylon gear of the scooter that has worn out. now replaced. reassembled the motor the sliding roof works. it opens but not totally. it opens completely only when I open the top ... the rear window is raised .... the boot is opened ... but it does not release the pillars for insertion into the boot. can you help me? can you tell me something? thank you
My sunroof got stuck but open the hardtop and closed no problem I cut the sunroof off And put it in place and sealed it. Now the hardtop wont open I guess theres a sensor i got to trigger to leave it permanently (open) to use the hardtop
Mine works during the opening process until the trunk step, but the trunk won't close. Taking it in for a checkup but was hoping it was something easy.
When the trunk is not responding, 1. check the connector for foreign elements, clean it or change it if rusty.2. the lock is not working properly. Just found out in a video. It's electronic and electrical connection must be established to activate it.

I cut the sunroof off
And put it in place and sealed it.
Now the hardtop wont open
