- A few weeks ago we made history by traveling to Nigeria to shoot content and host a networking event. We interviewed one of the top Afrobeat artists in the world Davido.
This conversation was much more than music. We spoke about business in Africa, his involvement in several tech startups on the continent, the political climate in Nigeria, civil unrest, his father who’s a billionaire, and his uncle who’s the richest black person in the world, and more. #davido #nigeria #afrobeats

A lot of other Africans are praying Fela Kutis name dies but he's in the RocknRoll hall of fame. He will always be known as the creator of Afrobeats.

Davido has a voice that can not be duplicated. As soon as you hear his voice in a song, you know automatically it’s Davido. That, in my opinion, is a superstar that’s in his own lane. Same with Burna Boy. Their voices are so distinct that there is no comparison and probably never will be. I wish that he and Wiz was on good terms. It would have been nice to see the “3 African Giants” on stage together and I’m not even African. Can’t wait for the new album.

For those who think it's strange. The business side of things in Africa that he talks about is happening all over the continent. I write from the Congo and I've been to many African countries. It's always the same thing.
You have to know someone in the government and you also depend on the change of position in the government. A new director can cause a new discussion (start the process again).
And bribing people becomes a way of life. We young people have to shake things up. Our future depends on it.
Despite all this, there are many opportunities in Africa. Many, my brothers and sisters.
There is only opportunity for rich people
