- Check out our newest interview with #GlenPowell. The actor and IMDb throw the Ultimate Watch Party for the #Netflix premiere of #HitMan by choosing snacks and essentials for screening the film at home. After he's nice and cozy, Powell guides us through career highlights and behind-the-scenes stories from The Dark Knight Rises (2012), including an accidental head slam from Bane himself, Tom Hardy; why we'd find him at the disco from Everybody Wants Some!! (2016); how he and Sydney Sweeney made Anyone But You (2023) as realistic as possible, and what it was like collaborating on Hit Man (2023) with indie iconoclast, Richard Linklater. Plus, Powell relives the excitement he felt during his first role on Spy Kids 3: Game Over (2003) and explains why Tom Cruise kept demanding "more sweat" on the set of Top Gun: Maverick (2022).

I loved this video. It was more like a conversation and less like an interview.
This Brother is next level "really, really, really, really good-looking" as they say in the business
Super cet acteur toujours très convaincant dans ces discours parfait de Glen Powel
Love this! ❤Love Glenn ❤ Enjoyed Hitman
What a second, I remembered when my siblings took me to see Spy Kids 3 and I thought the long finger kid was a girl and the long finger kid was a boy all along, and he's all grown up and officially grew to the hell of the young heartthrob status? Whoa!!! My 12 year old mind blown 😳
The Richard Linklater fake rage clip is in the end of a video called EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!! | More Stuff That's Not In The Movie on the ANNAPURNA youtube channel. Great movie.
Marvel should hire him for Cyclops
Xmen vibes.
Factsss
The audience might also finally buy why Jean Grey picked him over Wolverine.
No. No more movie stars to the Marvel grind box. He'll get lost there for years and we'd be robbed of more movies like Hit Man. You have literally thousands of comics and multiple movies already. No more.
Marvel is now a career killer
I thought set it up would have been talked about tbh
Slacker ❤
Yo
#hitman
I was really into this film until the massive plotholes began to emerge. First the minor one: In what world does the police hire college Professors to run undercover investigations on hit men for hire? And he's not a law enforcement agent? I ignored that plothole at first.
The major plothole: how could the undercover sting team look over the fact that the boyfriend in the diner is the same guy that was murdered by his girlfriend. This makes absolutely no sense that they couldn't connect the dots immediately once they find out the girlfriend's ex boyfriend was found shot dead. They didn't realize he was the same guy who was putting a it out on her? What is this shitty screenwriting assuming the audience wouldn't notice that obvious fact. Sad because I thought Linklater would be smarter than this. Sloppy work.
Here are some possible counters I can come up with:
1. It was based on the real life story of Gary Johnson, who was revealed in the end credits scene to have actually been both a humanities professor and a fake hitman. So the world is our world, 40 years ago ;)
2. They kinda explained this right before they sent out Gary to meet him: the cops didn't have any info on him (not even a photo!). They only that his name was Mike (which it wasn't really, it was Ray). It also ended with Gary chasing him off without a confession, causing them to chalk it up as a failed sting.
@@JJCooley OP obviously wasn't paying attention 😏
L take
I did not know what a self-loving narcissist Glen Powell is. Miserably bad, meaningless, empty movie from Glen's Powell's mind. This is a Glen Powell vanity movie to up-play and showcase himself thru meaningless sex scenes, his odd-ball impersonating abilities, and miserably poor scriptwriting abilities. This movie is for those who like the other raunchy, anti-humanity movies like Hangover etc. I will not watch another Glen Powell movie again.
Rubbish!
Why?
Huh?
