Great video :) Maybe also a good selling point: There are bicycle connectors for the SP connect system that can be build into the handlebars. Or cases with a connector ontop of it. So if you like riding motocycles and bicycles, you can use the same system. The accessories are pretty extensive.
I got the moto mount for my phone with the qnti vibration ring and the wireless charger and my totaly cost was $189.00. Hope it was worth it. I drive a ducati and wanted the ducati branded case but they didn't have it for newer phones.
I’ve installed SP connect on my Ducati Monster 821. It broke my iPhone 7 rear camera twice...in a one month time🤦🏻♂️ It has no vibration damping whatsoever, like it is advertised.
Suren V Hi Suren, the insert between the top and the bottom part of the phone mount works as a vibration damper, which - I believe - is designed to prevent the phone from getting loose from the mount. I’m not familiar with cases of iPhone rear cameras breaking - due to vibration or any other problem - so I would contact SP Connect if I were you.
@@muzzabike1417 I don't know if you have ever experienced this issue. It's something I and my friends found out after a few months of riding. The rear camera of XS Max, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max all broke. They all suffer the same thing: unable to focus. We believe the stabilizer is broken so the pictures are very blurry. It happened to me twice. At first, I thought maybe it was a manufacturing defect. But then the rear camera broke again after 2 months of use. The same problem. I talked to my friends and found out I'm not the only one.
@@Ikkiir , very interesting and thanks indeed for sharing it. I haven't experienced this problem, and I spoke with two friends who also use the SP Connectors Moto Mount and didn't have any complaint either. Note though that neither of us has an iPhone 11 or the other models you mentioned. Coincidentally I installed another SP Connect Moto Mount to my GS Adventure (I recently bought one, see video here ua-cam.com/video/7WV5iCIOF88/v-deo.html) and I did pay attention to see whether the shock absorbing mechanism was properly set - and it was (you can adjust it by turning the four hexagonal head bolts inside of it, the tighter they are the less play the sock absorbing mechanism provides). Good luck on your riding, and sorry for the problems you had.
Muzza Bike it’s something I found out within my local motorcycle circle. None of them use SPconnect. I used Ram mount. Others use chinese knock-off mount. After discovering that, I have gotten a cheap phone to use as navigator. I have also gotten SPconnect on my Hypermotard 950 to replace the RAM mount but I haven’t tried my 11 max pro with it. Don’t want to risk breaking the camera again. One thing I noticed is those iPhone 8 or older don’t suffer that kind of issue. Only X/XS/11 models. No statistic so don’t quote me on that. Just something I and my friends found out after asking a bunch of people with phone mount. My friend broke his XS camera twice before going back to a 7 and he no longer has to deal with that issue. Samsung doesn’t seem to suffer this issue either.
@@Ikkiir , you may be into something interesting here - and I appreciate your comment on the fact that the sample size may not be statistically relevant. Tellingly, me and all the people who I know to use the SP Connect Mount and have no problems have older phones.
very useful and god expleined. I have ordered the chromed one for my Heritage and tomorrow will be here. Lets see... I know and use the SP sistem in a Goldwing, and im very happy with it. But that model cant be usesd in the harley, I hope this one can
Great installation video, mine arrived today, which made your upload invaluable 👍Thank you, know a question if I may? How have you found the velvety feel finish, as it’s a good while, with plenty of use. I hope. Thank you in advance. Dave
Hi! Great rewiew! Did you have any problems with your iPhone triple cameras? I read many problems with this phone and with quad lock mount! I'm just hoping you hadn't any problems because I've just bought that phone and I would like to buy this mount!
How do you rotate the phone if you want to switch from landscape to portrait? Do you need to remove the phone and turn the male connector 90 degrees? Disappointed it doesn’t provide any lip protection on the case. Might have to look at the Quad Lock system.
Hi! Yes, you can. This page sp-connect.com/products/moto-bundle?variant=30265293275207 lists the Samsung S10e amongst the models supported (check it under the drop down list).
if you buy this for your iphone SE or 11 / 11pro (or indeed any new phone with Optical Image Stabilisation - make sure you get the anti vibration addon that just came out recently - sp-connect.com/products/anti-vibration-module I have already broken 2 iPhones until Apple investigated why.
You are so crystal clear and brilliant at delivering these kind of videos

Yes, great point! My review was focused on motorcycle use but you are very much on point. And SP Connect also makes good kits for cars too.
Great video. Thorough and answered all my questions about it.
Thank you!

My pleasure!
Great video! I’m definitely getting one. Thank you!

Biggest problem you did not mention: You need to twist 90° to put it on, that GREATLY limits where you can mount it...
