Back when funky music was still a thing. I’m a white Canadian, but I miss 90s funky R&B. Boys 2 Men has the single best living male vocalist, Wanya Morris. One Sweet Day is a terrific song because you’ve got Boys 2 Men and Mariah Carey, the greatest living female singer on the planet. Nobody today can outsing those people. They’re effortless.
Wanya Morris is absolutely the #1 singer of all time! The runs he hits are EPIC! I'm a 41 year old white guy and I've been trying to hit those runs for 30 years!

This song was such a big hit back in the day boys 11 men had so many great songs that stayed on the charts for weeks.. they are what started the boy bands cause then cake all tge other boy bands ...thanks for another great reaction happy 4 th of July my friends
Actually it was New Edition was the first boy band back in the early 80's. Boyz ll Men would be discovered years later at a New Edition concert. Michael Bevins who was one of the members of 'New Edition and Later part of the hit trio, Bel Biv Devoe, would go on to produce Boyz ll Men: Motown Philly.
This was our introduction to them, I remember when this video premiered on MTV back when they actually played music on the channel ✌️
I had the cassette of this...yes, it was a cassette tape...and played the heck out of it. They were the best group of their generation.

Oh Mike did sing. He was the constant bass in the harmony, filling out the sound and adding a richness. Very occasionally you'd hear him sing lead. It's just not common because tenor and barritone voices are more "accessible". Check out Thankyou, Please Don't Go, or their cover of Yesterday to hear Mike sing lead.
