Thanks for making this, I bought this game on the PS2 a long time ago, well I was a kid, it was gifted to me. Anyway, never finished Lucia story so this will be a nice way to complete the love I have for dmc 2. Thanks again, we appreciate it!

@@sebastiann.8088 same here, first dmc ever and as a kid I was in love with how the environments, enemies looked like as much as the souindtrack, and overall sound effects. replaying it as an adult, I hate it so much except for the parts I mentioned before ahahah, but yeah the game is awful with it's plot. we cannot blame the devs also they were forced to build, and send the game within 6 months which is a crazy amount of time
Well dmc 2 only had 6 months to be made not years so they didn't had time for good ideas, and small staff like these were placed just like that because random is better than nothing... "random is better than nothing" at least that's what the developers said and regret that to this day lol... To be fair though Hideaki Itsuno (director of dmc2) did say it should be better to warp this project altogether but big heads told him no...
There used to be a vid on all the combos for dmc2 but i think it was takin down and the only other one i can find is in all Japanese like. Cmon can someone post all the combos for at least one of the three OC id like to know lucia's combos tbh but dante and trish are waay better imo but ive never actually beat dmc2 to get trish 😂😅
To unlock Trish you need to beat dmc 2 in hard mode with Dante... But you didn't beat dmc 2 at all?!? Not even with Dante?! Then why do you wanna see Lucia's combo?
I know that this is an old video but really I kinda wish that the camera angle was consetrade it on the character not not randomly weird camera angles that can’t even see where your exactly going

I don't understand why dmc 2 is so bad, especially since the first is a thousand times better, they are totally different games. Ps: infested tanks and chopper, are the worst bossfight i've ever seen
It's because DMC2 was made by a different team without any input from the DMC1 team, and to make matters worse the team was lazy as hell because when the game was nearing release date the only thing that was done was Dante's Stinger animation. Capcom had to fire the director and that's how Hideaki Itsuno became the director of DMC. He only had about two months to make a whole game since the previous director didn't do anything
@@mbrillon765 The fact he managed to get a bunch done in 2 months(even though DMC2 is a mess) shows he was able to get stuff done. If things went differently and he got more than 2 months, I wonder how big it would have been?

Funny that this was also my first DMC game that was gifted to me. I still play it and love it to this day. I'm always gonna defend DMC2 no matter what

Arius never leaves the offshore facility unguarded in case Dante comes to stop him, but didn't expect Lucia to reach him first
