For a few years I was unable to grip much with my trail hand. I developed a release that finished with a V J Singh style partial letting go with the trail hand. This gradually developed into a very welcome catapult release. I have retained much of this even now my hand is recovered, giving me tens of metres of bonus distance with no loss of accuracy. It took years of practice which was the alternative to quitting golf entirely. I understand there are quite a few pros who use a similar type of release. I would love to see video of some of them.

Another thorough explanation Jonathan on how to attain a "controlled" golf swing! I like your explanation of "controlling the swing through limitations!" Your cross hand drill is one I am definitely going to implement into my practice sessions. Well Done As Always Jonathan!
