These are the kinds of reviews we need. 100% True to his words to help the people not the producers. I thought exactly the same as you did very little creations easy things to create without the app. Thank you.
As my kids have lots of random lego pieces, I laid all of them and the number that scanned got to be 2200.The app says it unlocks a various ideas with +1500 pieces that scanned. There are many of cool ideas, such as DeLorean (of Back To The Future movie,) a large Colosseum (of the ancient Roman theather,) miniture Captain America, Sub Zero and Scorpion (of Motal combat,) construction excavators, and dump trucks, to name a few. I seriously consider subscribing it as it, every now and then, offers some discount price after the free trial preiod. I might be a minotiry among guys here lol.
This video is super helpful, thank you! I want to make one small feedback suggestion - I found your background music so loud it was hard to hear your commentary. Otherwise great video and thanks for doing it.
Wish there was an app that would help you rebuild your old Lego sets that u took apart. I have a huge bucket and I didn’t lose a single Lego peice so ik it’s all in their
WHAT!!!!!! I have never heard of this!! That's pretty fascinating. I still like creating my own things though but this is brilliant for kids to inspire them. Great sharing 👍
For the steep annual and monthly price I'd expect to see bigger medium sized builds for like ages 7 to 16. The value is just not there given relatively high price. One time fee of like $20 would be much more reasonable with current offering.
The app is very cool especially if u have extra Lego or your younger but my only problem is that it’s shows u some cool stuff but u don’t have a single matching color so it’s pointless lol
This is a BS app that suggests little pieces of garbage. I scanned over 500 Legos and the things it suggest are 6-10 pieces only, like "fish" or boat and it is the simplest thing. Simpler than the stuff little kids create on their own. I cancelled and the app still billed me. There is not contact system outside of the app, so good luck resolving any dispute. Truly avoid this app.
honestly those microbuilts are okay but nothing amazing and u need to pay? That said gotta love the initiative, and imagine in maybe 5 or 10 years we might have some better and more developed version. So not for me, but I do see the potential and gotta love lego's initiative
Nice App Review… Interesting that the app can count your bricks for you, but I guess it misses the bricks hidden underneath. Nice app to count the bricks in your pick-a-brick cup, but not for $45 USD. Might as well just get another two PAB cups. At least it teaches kids how to make weird looking ducks 👍
Yeah, but you also miss those bricks unless you rummage around. Kind of a given. And yeah, unless they add all sets - somehow working with LEGO/BrickLink, it won’t be worth $45. Is it possible to add parts lists to still make sets you wanna build and have it find all those pieces?? Because then that kind of feature may make up for it to an extend.
Nice review. I remember giving this a look about a year ago and it seems that it hasn’t added any new features that would have me returning to it. The technology is cool but really impractical. I don’t think the free version is even useful because as you said… having children try and pinpoint certain pieces in a huge pile isn’t going to happen. I think any old LEGO classic set of just normal pieces already comes with a lot of neat mini-build ideas and already has the pieces ready for you.
I’m fairly certain it is meant for AFOLs only. Plenty of people building with LEGO aren’t children. In fact, I’d say LEGO is an artform more than a toy, and an engineering course. That may sound pretentious, like something Lord Business would say in The LEGO Movie, however I am not saying it can’t be or be used as a toy. But it is just as much of a sculpture making medium, and a way to learn about complex, advanced design and engineering techniques.
Great video mate, I’ve seen this app but never used it. I won’t bother with it but can see the appeal for their target audience, shame it only really makes micro builds
Yes, sorta. It should definitely be free, as I feel making it cost money is possibly an infringement of LEGO’s rights to the toy and name, but they deserve payment. I we had no money in society and got everything we ever wanted and needed from the government though, and that workers owned the means of production.

Thanks for making this video
Great 👌🏻😃
Thank you!
I agree with you. I don’t think the pro version is worth it. Maybe if it recognized the colors but even then not very sure. Great video!

Yea i agree with you. the classic sets come with alot of ideas and you get pieces!

Agree, not really worth it. Going to check out your equipment. Any updates?
I dont know how to share the picture

yea last year they had brick headz on it but didnt see it this time around
@@OpenBuildRepeat oh that’s a shame, that could be quite good
What? It doesn’t have all sets? They need to make a deal with LEGO/BrickLink, seriously!!
Cool app, but its fun for free. But it will be helpful for others for sure
free is always better.lol
why l paid 69 dollors!? for free?
Half the fun is figuring it out on your own so no to the app
that is true!
