I just started playing with my gear ratios. Changing my final drive to match the max speed of the track with an extra 10-15km has helped me keep up with the fast guys on the straights and actually use slip stream

I watched thou back in the day glad to see your videos again loving the forza GT class don’t sleep on the other BMW it’s really good and good on tires also.
Even though I’m not good and usually finish around mid pack, I’m still enjoying this forza in multiplayer more than any previous year, I miss drift lobbies but I have horizon for that, if I want some white knuckle racing, this game scratches that itch perfectly
After watching this, I am coming out of retirement. I just ordered the Xbox series X. Keep an eye on the leaderboards buddy. I am coming for you just like the old days.

Love these cars. My first car was a 1990 2door Jetta, same GT front end with the 4 headlights. And funny you mentioned supercharged...I swapped my Jetta with a G60 engine from a Corrado lol.

Been by using your tunes for years. Just stumbled on your UA-cam now.
Just started it on gamepass and I have to say: for those saying the AI is slow, T10 apparently made the AI thinking about me 😅
The AI is not slow when you turn them up, but there's a large variety of AI speed!
It just varies wildly. Even on like level 4-5 the top 3-4 in every race are in a class above the rest of the track.
It turns into avoiding AI chaos until you get past the pack, then trying to catch up to the top few who are already way ahead.

Had my first experience with the tires going off the other day. Same track. I felt that the tires felt pretty good & I can go a lot further, and as soon as I passed the pit it suddenly felt like I was driving on glass & lost so much time & positions just trying to get around again to the pit.
Dude me too! Like my tires were fi e and soon as I crossed finished my 5th lap I was on glass suddenly. Stoopid

Probably not tuning guides, lots of people ask but it's a long road to go down. I'll stick to describing tuning stuff and explaining while I do it on stream for now!
played GT race online against one more player who could of let me loose by atleast 45second gap but he let me win clearly - i messaged him and he recommended your channel - seems like Forza has a great community
Awesome race. What do you make of the BMW then? I use the old Bentley but the twin turbo kicks in alot when ya want to be smooth in corners so to get around this I had to use sport traction control but maybe if I just take some corners a gear up as to not get that surge of power when I don't want it I'll be ok.
There's a few cars that are quite fast at the moment, the rest are pretty close. The BMW is solid, I was just picking at random and didn't mind it.

So for the GT Serie you can't drive more Power right? whats the car tune? like tirepressure and everything else? Seems pretty stable your bmw
You can tune but the upgrades are standard, can’t be changed.
He has been playing forever. I was in some races back in the day. I haven't really played In a long time, but I'm back. It's so much fun. Hope we run into eachother one I go multi-player.
Brother have you considered using the Thrustmaster gamepad with the wheel module? Convenience of a gamepad with the control of a wheel. I started using one in Horizon 5 and I carried it over to Motorsport. It's pretty sick man check it out. Will take getting used to. Can't even think of how many times I tried to turn the wheel module like an analog stick under duress lol.
Not gonna be using it much longer myself, got an entire new sim rig coming in the mail next week.
I have one but I’m so trained on what I use that I don’t think it would be worth spending time to fully learn it. Maybe for fun once in a while though!
@@Raceboy77 could be a cool idea for a video! Just hop into a random race without even taking a practice lap with it haha. I dunno though, for the sake of everyone else on the track you should definitely practice with it first lol.
Have you ever used a full sim rig? Ever had any real track time? As smooth as you are with a pad, even switching to a sim rig would take you quite a while to get as fast as you are now.

Yep, I’ve been in mandatory wheel competitions on Forza before so I have some experience on a wheel. Also used it for a GT comp in the past. Grew up drag racing but not a whole lot of road course other than some Lemons and karting for fun.

Do u control your pace short shifting or with throttle?
Mostly throttle but I short shift sometimes too. The car has so much power you have to manage with throttle most of the time regardless of gear.

At last a UA-camr who can drive. Most are fake as hell and annoying. Everywhere I’ve put a time in I’ve seen Raceboy 1 place ahead of me. And I’m extremely quick myself. Good to see him on UA-cam, don’t mind being second best to him, he seems like a cool guy.
Appreciate the kind words! I was a competitive player first, content creator second. Now I'm an old man who's off pace but can still keep up sometimes.
Controller definitely looking easier than the wheel here. On the final chicane, when you took flawlessly, barely affected the car. On a wheel you feel those curb jumps, and it entices you to react just the slightest bit. If you do, even a little, the car will veer wide. On a controller, it's a non-event.
I've heard from some of my wheel friends that it's very strong too once you dial it in. I think this game will be pretty balanced but wheels will have an advantage in regards to tire wear.
Where are these long races like this? Can't find them in the lobbies
It changes weekly but this was the GT featured multiplayer.
They really need to tone down collision sounds, even the smallest contact sounds like a head-on impact
There's a slider for that in audio!
I think it's also in there to calm the accidents down a bit as well

The best GT car at the moment is the R8, I'd suggest using whatever cars you like though.

why have you got the braking line on?
Helps to give some reference when hopping from car to car and track to track. It also lets me know when other people are probably going to brake, that allows me to avoid hitting them in the braking zone if I'm braking much later. I've competed at the professional level where line wasn't allowed, eventually get faster without it but it's more relaxing and enjoyable with it.

The rammers are getting away with far too much, the penalties need to be applied in race not at the end.

PC vs Xbox
I have the impression that the promise of equal FPS on PC and Xbox is not being faithfully fulfilled. and with the feeling that on PC times are getting faster and easier. I made a statistic of friends who migrated to PC vs friends who migrated from PC to Xbox. and I was scared. everyone who went to PC was faster and everyone on Xbox was slower. and the statistics don't matter..... this is worrying after all no one will be on the console getting beaten up by PCs.

HOMOLOGATION - if its in this game ill give it a pass. Then buy a PS5 and just get Gran Turismo
GT has homologation too, it's the same thing. BoP for multiplayer is all homologation.

Can't anyone drive from the drivers set this is boring crap not impressed at all.
Is there some kind of trick I'm missing with these GT cars? On every other class car I get podiums on multiplayer very regular but with these GT cars im like 2-3 seconds off the pace of the top 5. Do people tune these cars or something? Like lower psi's or more downforce? It literally feels like I'm driving on ice. Droven plenty of GT3/4 cars on games like AC, ACC, GT7 and even Iracing but never felt something so off somehow.
I drive with a DD wheel and every other car feels perfectly fine, friend of mine had the exact same problem even with a controller.
Yeah tuning these cars makes a huge difference! You can download tunes or make one yourself.

@@Raceboy77 Downloaded your m8 gtd tune, tried an online race, first time playing on controller and already 2,5 seconds faster on my first quali lap than on my DD wheel. Car feels so much better than the base tune. Would really like to know what sorta things u changed on the tune so I know what direction I need to take it when I want to tune other GT cars like you made this one. Care to share?
