My name is Dr zohaib mbbs 34 years male ( pakistan ) I have a question regarding the Covenant of Alast, Allah took a covenant from all souls before creation, asking, 'Alastu bi-Rabbikum?' However, we don't remember this event. My concern is: if this covenant is considered a test of our faith, then shouldn't we remember the preparation and agreement we made? In any test, we typically recall our studies and preparation, which enables us to answer questions correctly. If we don't remember, it's likely we'll fail. Since Allah has veiled our memory of this covenant, doesn't that guarantee our failure in this test? How can we be held accountable for something we don't recall? Doesn't this contradict the concept of a just and fair test?
