My son got this for Christmas. Loves it. The pink one came out absolutley perfect, the purple one self destructed before the seed rock came out. We now have a green and blue one growing, and are due to be "harvested" either today or tomorrow.
I am actually planning on using a Dremel bit to grind the seed rock out rather than chance destroying any more!

No I got the same kit and none of my seeds came out we're or dry

you have to wait 2-3 days to fully dry
No hate or anything but you should have tried using a metal spoon like they showed in the directions... I love your channel though!

I think the Crystal needs to dry before the 'seed rock' is removed. You did a great job though =) thanks for sharing =)
Except it says nothing about removing the seed. Probably why they’re falling apart
for total zoomers: make sure the place where you keep'm while they grow is leveled,this gives you an equal thickness of the walls, before pulling seeds out let'm dry for 2-3 days , and most importantly - never wear a ( fake, plastic) long nails when you work with your hands

You should used a metal spoon and you squeezed it way to hard after the seed pops out. En let it dry some more sinds it so wet after it comes out of the water

I really hope you did not throw away all of the pieces because they are still very pretty and that would be a complete waste
The newer ones do not need the seed removed. The newer ones also either only come with 2 silicone cups or none and ask you to use your own glassware

As someone who studies crystals, I can tell you that fluorite is blue and purple and not even close to green. It looks absolutely nothing like peridot, which is what you showed

The small ones you can use as seeds too. Just tie it to a string and put the string on a pencil like when you make rock candy

You should have let them dry a little bit maybe before you tried to take the seed out
Maybe you needed to dry the water off befour you tryed to take the seed of. Or let it dry befour.

Hey, thanks for this video! We were really struggling with getting the seed rocks out of my daughter's crystals, and my husband had just busted out the drill. I'm pretty sure we would have wrecked the crystals completely without your video!

Pour out the water first and then take the crystal out and with a pink one don't take it off of the sides because that just ruins the crystal if you take it off at the bottom then the whole thing will usually just collapse but I did was just leave the seed in it it doesn't really need to go on the display case plus the thing really doesn't shine through

Your mistake was using a aluminium kettle to heat the water. It makes a bad reaction with the crystals and it breaks them all up.

Use the tiny broken pieces in a beveled charm and clear glue
