By sending pals on expeditions, you can get end game resource.
This is one of the 2 ways to get research points. (Other is redeeming Bounty tokens in a town).

Yeah I only played a little bit since the update and I've seen and heard sooo many things.

I HATE the new ore gathering method.
At default rates, you only get 3 Ingots worth of Quartz per node.
If they don't come up with a way to automate it... at least slowly like the oil wells... I don't see many people wanting to go through the grind.
My purple armor schematic takes 200 Ingots... That is over 60 Crystal nodes.
You will be able to make 3 spheres per crystal node.
Yuck.

@@jeffwhalen1978 Yep, each node gives 40 Quartz. Each bar is 12 quartz. 3 = 36... you have 4 quartz left over.
