I've been playing Pokemon since find a Blue cartridge left in the playground wood-chips in the rain; it didn't save but it worked until the battery died. It was enough that my dad bought me Red and my brother Blue, and we'd each get the other version until my brother lost interest and I kept playing. I'll always remember seeing the first Pokemon movie in theaters with my dad and us both crying with Pikachu when Ash turned to stone. I still play, and I cannot recommend Legends Arceus enough. This movie is such an amazing feat of respect and genuine love. Same with the Sonic movie, it has NO RIGHT being as good as it is. Tim having these heavy father issues and the feeling of being left behind by peers as you become an adult is so overwhelmingly common these days and needing to end a childhood dream for reality hits pretty hard. The characters were just so interesting and just deep enough that they don't feel hollow or stereotypical. Also the three Pokemon you mentioned in the office is Arceus, Literal God, Dialgia God of Time and Palkia God of Space. There's an actual Pokemon lore religion based on them.
Pokémon red and blue had three starters to choose from. Pokémon yellow you got pikachu as a starter and the three starters joined you later as you followed the anime route. I started with Red back in the day and picked Charmander. Charizard is still my fave. And yes I still play Pokémon Go, it’s got some neat new features to keep me interested- I’m a dog walker so I get in a LOT of steps. 😂
I may not have played the Detective Pikachu game but being a Pokémon fan myself, I was all the more interested in watching this film. While some of the realistic Pokémon look good like Charizard, there are others that could’ve been better imo. I did like the movie at the end of the day however.

This movie is an adaptation of the Detective Pikachu video game that came out on the 3DS years ago. And there's suppose to be a sequel coming to the Switch sometime in the future. Hopefully after the gen 9 games come out since that's the main hype right now.
I really liked this movie, especially with how it was set up to not only introduce the world of Pokemon at a much slower pace, but also how it makes a nod at different parts of the franchise. Even gives a nod to the anime, while respecting Nintendo's wishes to leave Ash out of the equation. I think I saw somewhere that they were planning for a Pokemon Cinematic Universe, but that got put on hold for some reason.

It was interesting hearing you mispronounce 'Charizard' and 'Charmander' through this whole thing by saying 'Charlizard' (adding the 'li' in there). Also, the original Red/Blue you don't get Pikachu at the start, that came with the 'Yellow' version, released later after the anime became a hit.
Pokémon are pretty sentient, their almost people. Also yes we do eat them, a few Pokémon almost went extinct from over hunting and finally you’re not alone on wishing Pokémon were real.

I'm sorry to hear about the decline in views! I just liked at the videos and you're right, the views seemed to fall off recently. I wonder if it's because you're posting the videos too often? I'm not complaining lol but I think only doing one or two a week will let that video stay in the recommended and home page. If you post another one, it cuts off the time the previous video had for promotion. Maybe don't post for a week and then when you come back, watch a movie that we know people want to see. I know you've already done these but if it's been longer enough, it doesn't matter. Harry potter- one video per movie, short of an hour runtime. Twilight series Classic Disney princess movies Jurassic park I'd also suggest editing the video to have more sound effects and meme references. A lot of commentary channels now have a ton of editing in it. I'd say this channel is very wholesome and funny at times but I think we could step the funny up with editing. Sadly the first few minutes does not exist, it was for some reaso cut out, which explains the Lore of the Legendary Duos Species, such as Movie 1 which 4 Kids cut the first 10 minutes showing baby Mewtwo and the reason why he is angry at humans. Best is to watch the Pokemon movies in japanese cause even the Soundtracks are way different and serious. of and Pokemon Movie 2 is also different in soundtracks.

It was interesting hearing you mispronounce 'Charizard' and 'Charmander' through this whole thing by saying 'Charlizard' (adding the 'li' in there). Also, the original Red/Blue you don't get Pikachu at the start, that came with the 'Yellow' version, released later after the anime became a hit.

Pokémon are pretty sentient, their almost people. Also yes we do eat them, a few Pokémon almost went extinct from over hunting and finally you’re not alone on wishing Pokémon were real.

I'm sorry to hear about the decline in views! I just liked at the videos and you're right, the views seemed to fall off recently. I wonder if it's because you're posting the videos too often? I'm not complaining lol but I think only doing one or two a week will let that video stay in the recommended and home page. If you post another one, it cuts off the time the previous video had for promotion. Maybe don't post for a week and then when you come back, watch a movie that we know people want to see. I know you've already done these but if it's been longer enough, it doesn't matter.

I mean no offense by this, but it's kinda funny when people say that Pokemon was their childhood and then it becomes clear that they either played one game in the series maybe once and don't remember much of it at all, or they watched a couple episodes of the anime. It's like saying Harry Potter was your childhood when you've only watched the first movie and you only remember the most famous 3 characters lol

Hey, would you like to watch the Pokemon movie 5? Its the only movie where a Pokemon actually dies and its very great. Sadly the first few minutes does not exist, it was for some reaso cut out, which explains the Lore of the Legendary Duos Species, such as Movie 1 which 4 Kids cut the first 10 minutes showing baby Mewtwo and the reason why he is angry at humans. Best is to watch the Pokemon movies in japanese cause even the Soundtracks are way different and serious. of and Pokemon Movie 2 is also different in soundtracks.
