omg. I did this similarly yesterday in my basement. Except instead of your cool chute, I simply, carefully chucked the pieces delivered to my driveway threw a small window and DIRECTLY into a big wheeled bin purchased from Home Depot. I then carted it to the highest elevation of the basement and stacked it on sod pallets.
Thank you Bro I made improvements so far but huge time saver! I think the only way it could go faster would be to split it right there then fire it down the the hole !

Well why didn't u make a hatch with 2 chains on it that open with henges to a 45 degree seems like ur struggled with the first log but I like the idea
