In the video you will learn the basic steps how you should look at a Mahadasha, the sequence of analyzing. Since nothing can be like fast food so in the forthcoming Video we share a chart of a person wherein we will then share how to use the sequence to interpret a chart.
A step by step approach from this video will make you understand, if you really want to understand please take a few charts and apply the knowledge of this video and in the next Video you may start to look for events which will relate.

Quick Summary
- During Dasha period you WILL BE GIVEN what comes, it is like Food coming in sequence and will be served.
- During Transit the results are like Buffet food, you can pick what you want and ignore the others.
Dasha (Vimshotari is based on Moon)
A Good moon positon will have good dasha
If Moon
- debilitated
- with bad planets (Ra, Sa)
- in 6,8,12
- or with lord of 6,8,12
Implies Dasha has less impact, hence look at transit.
Kendra House (1,4,7,10)
- Kedras are Naisargik Shubh Sthan
- Natural or Default Positive house
- For Kendras, don't check Dasha, rely on Transits
Triangle shape house = Triangle shape in North India representation of chart
- These houses are 2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12 (exclude 1,4,7,10 as they are diamond shape)
- Always dependent on Dasha
- They need time to arrive
In Transit if you to see the impact/result of 1,4,7,10
- Apply transit
- Then apply Dasha
E.g., 4th Lord Dasha is going on OR 4th Karaka Lords Dasha is going on,
and some benefic planet is transiting 4th house.
You will for sure get the result of 4th house as per the transits and the planets.
Results are guaranteed, but what type of results are to be determined based on the chart.
Dasha has 7 steps for prediction
1. Of the 9 sequence of Dashas, which on is going on.
1. Janma,
2. Sampat(Wealth),
3. Vipat(Obstacles),
4. Kshema & Kshetra(Pleasure, expansion),
5. Pratyari (tension, Worries, Anxiety),
6. Sadhaka (Enjoy your fruits),
7. Naidhana (Marka),
8. Mitra (Make everyone a friend),
9. Ati-mitra (make intimiate friends).
Years of Dasha
Hig = Ve(20), Mo(10), Ra(18), Sa(19)
Low = Ke(7) , Su(6) , Ma(7) , Ju(16), Me(17)
2. Which houses does the Dasha lord own, the mooltrikona house will be opened up during Dasha
e.g., Aq Lagna
Leo is the 7th house. Rules by Sun.
Hence during Sun Dasha, Sun will open the 7th house box and offer you what ever is in it.
For planets other than Moon, Sun, the house that is open is the mooltrikona house.
e.g., Lagna = Tauras
Mars Dasha going on.
Mars Mooltrikon = Aries (12th house) (70% result)
Mars Swagraha = Scorpio (7th house) (30% result)
3. Where does the Dasha lord have its Karaka.
e.g. Mars = Significator of something in each house
All those things will be activated.
4. Where is the Planet seated.
It will give the result of the house.
Own, Friend, Enemy, neutral
5. Which houses does the Dasha planet Aspecting
Direct aspect house
then other aspects.
6. Where it is placed in Navamsha
Vargotam
Bhavaotam
Own house, debilitated, Exalter,
where it is placed in Pushkar Navamnsh
6,8,12 of Navamsh - reduced result
7. How is the planet in Bhinastakavarga & Sarvastakavarg
If points are above 4 is good.
Remedy for bad time: Check your clock is running, Gift a good clock to someone or some organization, etc.

One more important concept for judging the fruits of Mahadasha-Antardasha is to see the Yogi, Sahyogi and Avayogi planets in the chart. Dasha and Antardasha of Avayogi planet generally gives negative results. If the same planet is Yogi or Sahyogi it gives good to mix results depending on the strength of that particular planet.

Hi sir,
You have mentioned above astakavarga for dasha. Astakavarga is used to predict the transit. Shad Bala and vimsopak Bala are important to predict the dasha not astakavarga. We can feel the astakavarga effects during the 71/2 Saturn if Saturn have less bindu in 12,1,2 houses from moon sign.

moon debilitated in 12th house of scorpio conjuct Sun. Going through venus mahadasha(4th) where venus is debilitated in virgo in 10th house but vargottama in navamsha. So according to you, two conditions met for me to disregard dashas. Moon debilitated and dasha planet is in a kendra house. So does this mean I have not much effect of dasha periods ? Can you please explain.
What if there was no pleasure in the 4th dasa but stress? Will that mean it will exchange with 5th dasa and 5th dasa will become pleasure? Let's take for example, 4 th dasa is Kethu and 5th dasa is Sukra.

very nice video sir. you have revealed more techniques in this video. i have a doubt sir. what if nakshatra lord aspect the moon? is that also same like the nakshatra lord conjunct with the moon? Example : for cancer ascendant, taurus sign person moon in mrigasira nakshatra, and the mars is in 8th house aquarius, and aspect the moon(taurus sign) as a 4th aspect. (pls consider that mars (5,10th lord) acts as a good planet due to getting the 7th aspect of jupiter(9th lord). how about the nakshatra lord aspecting the sign which has a planet in its own nakshatra. this will help in other sequences too. another example also i have that, mercury and Venus are in uttara bhadrapada and the nakshatra lord saturn aspecting both of the planets as a 3rd aspect from Capricorn. please explain tthat consequences sir. thank you verymuch
