- The Minnesota Vikings beat the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in overtime yesterday, and late in the fourth, Justin Jefferson made a one-handed catch that Kirk Cousins threw down the field on 4th and 18 for the first down. Jefferson had to grab the ball from Cam Davis for the 32-yard gain that kept the Vikings alive. The Vikings kicked a go-ahead FG in OT and picked Bills QB Josh Allen off to seal the Vikings victory. Unc is ON POINT. That game was EPIC despite the refs helping Buffalo the last drive of regulation.
@GB the blown ref calls balance each other out… they ruled Devin singletary fumbled the ball in the 2nd half but when you watch it you can tell his elbow was down and he had possession of the ball and it didn’t start to come lose until after he was down. But because the camera angle was so terrible since there was 3 guys in the tackle you couldn’t “definitively” see when the ball started to come out so couldn’t overturn it. Because they ruled it a fumble on the field it stood but even the announcer said it he didn’t fumble it but cause that’s what it was called on the field there was no clear evidence to overturn it. They shoulda ruled it down by contact on the field and then it woulda stood even if Vikings challenged it as down by contact

Best game of the Season so far. Not taking anything away from Jefferson but the reason it didn't hit the ground was because it landed on the defender's shoe's then he brought it in. The fact that he stayed with it the entire play was outstanding.

There were several Josh Allen running plays where you could tell the defense was holding back on hitting him. They are too afraid to get a penalty. I hate how much running QBs are protected. There should be a two step rule or something on slides. If you are going to slide, you have to do it very early. None of this sliding at the last possible second and then getting a penalty on the tackle that was already started before the slide.

You can make an argument, the defender assisted Jefferson with his catch. With out the defender, Jefferson probably doesn’t control the ball by himself.

Let's not forget the Bills had 12 men on the field when the Vikings were 1st and goal in OT. Of course, no call there! Refs did EVERYTHING they could do to give this game to the Bills. Great game, bad officiating, and great win for the Vikings to overcome ALL odds on the road against the Superbowl favorite.

what's great about JJ is the combination of his instincts, football IQ & "fight" for the ball; only a few receivers (Rice, Moss, Owens, etc) have those 3 attributes together, at a very high level... it's impressive to watch.

This is one of the greatest comeback wins in nfl history!!! Down 17 at the end of the 3rd, on the road against the Super Bowl favorites. It seemed absolutely impossible to pull of the comeback upset, but the Minnesota Vikings did just that. Absolutely unreal!!!!!

Even the helmet catch... which was still impressive cause u don't want to lose it had help with the helmet. This one was all him with one hand and taking it away from a guy with two hands on it as he's falling. AND... kept ball from touching the ground.

They both got a point. Odell's catch from a skill standpoint without looking into the but just the catch is the tougher catch. But when you look at the moment in the game that the catch happened, JJ's catch is so crucial that you can argue his catch was the better catch because that was a tough do or die moment.
But JJ did it in coverage and fought for it one handed while the defender had two. Odell did it one handed while being alone. We all know catching in coverage is more difficult.
