I assumed the end is an ongoing series...or else...that ending mustve been the most dumbest ending i've ever seen as there is no point tp the whole movie/series.

1. solution: i would say, the silo image of outside is a fake and they see the truth through the helmets. the problem is, if you live 285 years inside a silo (isolated) and going out to nature, the air and nature are dangerous to those people, which die immediately. everything else makes no sense for me. 2. solution: going outside isnt the real world, just a room between world and silo, which will show, how dangerous are the world is outside for the people. why they should have a such large screen for the people in silo? to scare them going outside and control them inside.
