He's one of the best managers in Benfica's history. Won the Portuguese league without any defeat and Eusébio won his second golden boot when he was over 30 years old and people though he was finished because of his knee problems.
Why did your father idolized Mr. Hagan?

@@benficahub He grew up watching him play for Sheffield United, for my generation our idol was Tony Currie, I guarantee everytime we told our parents how good he was, they would always say Hagan was better

@@benficahub No idea where my Father got the story or how true it is, but he told the story of Hagan coaching Eusebio on penalties and for some reason or other aiming or hitting the post.
Eusebio said it couldn't be done, Hagan stepped up and dud it
