I LOVE this girl. BY THE WAY, EVERYTHING THAT WAIRIMU SAID--NOT WANTING TO SHOWER OR BATHE, LOSS OF APPETITE, AVOIDING PEOPLE, AND CRYING WITHOUT ANY APPARENT REASON--ARE ALL SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION. One correction, my dear Wairimu: NOT ALL DOCTORS ARE TRAINED IN PSYCHOLOGY BUT YOU WERE LUCKY TO GET ONE THAT CARED ENOUGH TO SOMEHOW DISCOVER YOUR MENTAL PROBLEM. I'm recovering from depression and it's not a joke to be in depression we na ni ukweli mundu dedaga Gitago Kia and me nilikuwa na shinda Kwa Kitanda bila kuoga na low self esteem nilikuwa nachungulia kama Kuna watu nje ndo nitoke kwenda msalani. I totally understand what Edith is talking about I'm not yet there yet juu confidence haijarudi vizuri bado but God is forever faithful, Nita overcome tu.

Edith Wairimu’s testimony is very touching and I note is very similar to my upbringing even though my story is obviously of a much earlier period in time. The other notable difference is that I am not as gifted as she is especially in music and I have not been saved as yet but I am a follower of Christ and God is my protector. I am also a first born so of a single mother who struggled all her life as my siblings and I grew up. The role church played in her life is very similar to my story but I must admit I was fortunate that my mum was a simple lady and a hospital worker who trained as a midwife at old age. I am very much inspired by Edith and by the way, we share a profession, not singing though.

I don't know why am crying watching that part of depression😭😭😭😭I think that's what am going through right now but I know God got me
Be strong jane. One sign of depression is crying without a reason. Find something you love and do. I was depressed and didn't know when I went to the doctor she asked why I was there and I cried controllably she prescribed medication and asked me to chose something to do to keep my mind busy. I chose to shower and it helped alot. Every time I felt bad I showered even give times a day. Today I thank God coz I refused to be depressed.

May God come to your rescue Jane, you remind me of my experience with depression, sometimes I would cry unknowingly, i had trouble sleeping and eating, it took God for me to be healed, i may not give all the details in the social media but i would only encourage you to give it all to God, also try focusing on things that lift your spirit and avoid thoughts that bring you down, with God all things are possible.

Jesus was perfect because He had no sin. He was not required to be baptised BUT He did to serve as an EXAMPLE to us. It was an act of OBEDIENCE to GOD the Father. Baptism is a sign that your heart has been washed from sin. It is a fulfilment of all Righteousness. Which is, 1. Believing in Jesus Christ/ God
2. Repent your sins
3. Accept the forgiveness
4. Live a holy life
Baptism is by immersion. To be dipped into water
