Maybe you can add a goblin quest line which starts after the main bee quest line is finished, the fairies/pixies will come and inform the player of a disturbance deep in the forest, after following the fairies/pixies to the source of the disturbance, they end up going to the mountainous area in the northwest region of the map where, after the goblin quest is activated, a hole in the mountain is dug out by the goblins, it is then revealed that they are from another area and are mining through the mountains to extract resources. The goblins also pose a threat to the forest as they want to cut down the trees for coal, hunt down the fauna, etc.. and the fairies/pixies request for the player to enter the mountains and defeat the goblins, in return, the fairies promise the player(s) the next tier of equipment. The goblins' caverns can be a solo or group dungeon, they kill a bunch of mobs, solve some puzzles, and defeat the goblin shaman, after clearing the caverns and receiving their equipment from the fairies, they travel through the caverns, and end up in the next map after the forest, which will be a smooth transition, to return to the forest area, they'll have to return through the caverns which will now be filled with the original inhabitants before the goblins (bats, snakes, etc..) which can be a higher level grinding zone. How's this?
damn, every time I watch your videos it always makes me feel like I want to give it a try and make a small game. But it always look so intimidating.. but good job man you are nailing it.
Not sure if you already have this or how this works with multiplayer, but maybe the functionality to turn off attack animations from other players when online. I think Maplestory has something like that idk. Also totally off topic but a maze dungeon would be cool. Awesome series btw, just finished binge watching all of it lol
I absolutely love these devlogs. As for a new attack for the staff (it only has 2 lol) I'd love an attack that resembled one of Sans attacks in undertale (i.e. a barrier of moving bones or a gaster blaster that acts like this new beam attack).
I feel like I relate to this guy more now than ever. Charge would probably feel better if on impact there was a little push back, maybe extra damage if pushed into a wall or other enemy?

I am keeping that option in mind. it isn't in game yet. But at the same time the attacks are not so seizure inducing as maple

lmao that'd be an awesome idea for like a necromancer class or something, like a staff that gives weapon abilities similar to a necromancer
