I have enjoyed long-distance walking for many years, here in my native Scotland. The views are very similar and just as inspiring! I would love to walk the Kungsleden, but I think I have left it a bit late in life now!. Thanks for a fine video.
Hi Erika, great video! I'm hiking the Kungsleden this summer in august/early september. I'm debating on whether to go south or north because Im going on my own and I would like to meet some people. Did you meet someone every day? What would you recommend?
beautifull video about this track. Thank you for sharing. How long did it take and when did you go? Happy hiking for your future tracks :) best wishes from Austria
Hello! I´m very happy to hear that you enjoyed it! I started in Hemavan 1st of August and ended in Abisko the 16th, so it took me 16 days. I wish you happy hiking as well, both for the Kungsleden and other trails in Austria, I´ve heard very good things about the hiking there! //Erika
Yes, we have a lot of nice tracks here as well. Austria is really a very nice country with great mountains. And the mosquitos are definitely not as bad in the west. You should come for a hike 😉
Hello, I'm planning a Kungsleden hike summer next year. I see you are using a Gosammer Gear (the One I believe). How did the tent work for you? Was is enough for the climate and rain? I'm considering buying this tent for my trip
Hi! You are right, my tent was Gossamer Gear the one. It worked nicely on the trail, I liked that it was light, easy to set up, and it handeled the wind and mosquitoes really well. My problem with it was that when it rained heavily some of the rain made its way into the tent, and there was quite a lot of condensation in the morning. I bought this tent because I am planning to do some longer thru-hikes in the future, but if you are buying specifically for the Kungsleden I would probably go with something a bit more wind- and waterproof. I hope you get a really nice hike next year!
On my Silo list to hike!
Lovely video, beautiful Sweden, you are lucky to live in such a lovely place.I like your style.

Beautiful countryside and music. Were those reindeer?
Thanks! Yeah, there are loads of them in northern Sweden. As someone from the south I always get very excited when I see them :)
Bello fatto anch'io nel 2022

@@ErikaLjung Thanks! I'll research some more about the tent before committing!
