I've been using the Novation Launchpad X with a custom midi script for years and love how its pad pressure feels for CAT/PAT, this looks like it's using the same pads. Little bit more tiring on the fingers in the long run (especially expressive pad chords), but a ton of fun to map to lots of stuff.
SeamlessR is the true MVP of the FL community. Almost 4 hours showcasing this controller is fucking amazing. Love it.
How does scales work? Is it like Komplete Kontrol Easy mode or do they just shift notes up and down? The all white keys mode of Komplete Kontrol is what they should all emulate IMO
as i'm not using any vst from FL, the keyboard should work with the rec , step seq. , new pattern and etc, right?
Not so much new pattern but the rest yeah. The chord stuff is also from the keyboard itself, so it will trigger everything just fine.

Do you know if a 49Key version is planned similiar to the "Launchkey 49 [mk3]"?
They made a statement saying one hasn't been developed, but that they are keeping people's requests for other sizes in mind
After watching most of your videos, maybe your the right man to answer this question or anyone in the comments. I have the flkey37 and I'm learning performance mode from one of your videos but you use a novation pad to play the pads within the the playlist. How or can we use the pads on the flkey37 to trigger the samples or sounds for performance mode? If so, how🤔

does any here use mainstage 3 in flkey 61?cuz i have a problem with my pads under slider, cuz i assign it in mute and unmute somehow i have to press to mute and press twice to unmute. if anyone know how to fix pls comment down bellow

Im sad I got the Launchkey37 4 months ago when I coulda gotten this one for FL Studio. They’re build almost identically. All I needed was for it to work out-of-the box with FL.

how do we expression in fl studio? bc i have been told by imageline its not possible regardless if i get a pedal or if i use midi cc11. Im talking about real expression not just dynamics.

They're doing a 'mini' version for half the price too.
If it'll talk to both at once then that would be a really useful combo.
@@Gainn Yeah I saw that but I think I would prefer the proper Mod Wheel and full sized keys, as far as I can work out it should be possible to operate both at once, I'll let you know, if I win the Lottery this weekend..lol
@@JockGit64 I put a preorder on the bigger version. April 20th is expected shipping date so if they behave I'll update unless you do first. Wonder if it'll work with older versions. I've got fl9 on an ancient laptop that I use for gigs in slightly shady area so if it gets robbed then it's cheap to replace.. :P

My FLkey 37 arrived a few days ago, and for some reason I cant control some of the FL plugin like Morphine, Sakura, Sawer, GMS, etc.
Can please someone help me understand the reason am having this issue and how can I fix it?
Any chance to be an hardware failure, or is something wrong with my FL?
I been watching some tutorial and they don't look having any of this issues.
Make sure you have the latest FL software, make sure the keyboard is enabled in the FL midi options, and if all else fails, try unplugging it and plugging it back in while FL is open.
It's likely cause you don't have the right midi driver selected and or you didn't update the driver for fljey to latest. Go to the novation site for this keyboard and follow the get started instructions which show you from scratch
My flkey37 won't let me select the pot modes. It only allows me to select custom buttons.
ALSO it won't let me use the record button, play button, metronome, quantization etc.
I need a resolution or i will attempt to return it .
make sure you're using the latest version of FL. It has updated scripts the keyboard needs to work.
@@SeamlessR it has something to do with the scripts. Everything is up to date . I'm about to try and reset fl studio to default settings
@@ProdBy.AyeJay As well, hit up Novation Components (either the browser based one or the standalone app) to make sure the hardware itself has the latest firmware + the extra custom mode
@@SeamlessR ya its mot allowing me to manage custom pad mode . Or install firmware with standalone . Its such an annoying issue .

How do you setup custom pads to mute say 4 or 5 sounds in the channel rack for live looping? Take out all the drums etc . Thanks in advance and got a new sub. PCG. 👊

Do you know if the FLKey mini drum pads also have aftertouch? Thanks a lot for the demo by the way, this thing is looking really neat.
One thing I'm noticing that's super annoying about using the pads with FPC is that if you accidentally hit the preset button it messes up the presets in a way that just pressing preset back the reverse direction doesn't fix it (I'm using one of my own saved presets). Luckily the undo button does work but it's pretty annoying

My 'old' Korg Taktile has an XY pad that can double as a 2-button mouse at the touch of an extra button.
This way I even don't have to reach for the mouse for moving or assigning other controls. 😉Have an excellent day!

5:00 looks like you didn't try Launchpad Pro mk3 (don't know if other mk3 models have same pads) but from your excitement I see that pads here are similar or the same as on Pro mk3. And to me they are better then on my Maschine Micro mk3 which I thought where the best in the industry.
I'm in love with this goober. I may even get the mini just to travel a little easier.
Does the Novation FL key 37 keyboard work with Logic Pro?
Probably. the pad elements and chord stuff should work. If a launchkey can work then so can this. I would see if it does

I'm on a PC. Are you using the latest version of FL? It needs the updated scripting to work.

Piece of garbidge! It is not possible to turn off! While Your pc is on this still lighting with 17 leds! Only turn off You need to pull out from Your pc!! Also it was useless to order midi cable next it to save my usb port,,,don't connect with midi cabel at all!
Hardly big issues, just unplug usb if you’re that bothered
