I agree. No pomegranate, grapes. Here in this clip the rice appears to be very pasty. Do not soak the rice. After the cooker is cooled down, add 2 more glass of water to rice and cook it directly in a vessel for 10 minutes. Ganji(starch) and soft rice make the curd rice tastier. Very purpose of using raw rice is for Ganji. The curry and coriander leaves may be cut to very small size so that curry leaves are consumed without wasting. We can add little finely cut zinger and Jeera also.

Nice explanation on common mistakes ! My mouth is watering !!! Following are my observations:- 1. The quantity of Curd and Milk is confusing. It appears that more milk was used than the Curd !!! 2. The Milk has to be boiled milk or Raw pocket Milk ? 3. What about adding half a spoon of sugar and Cumin seeds (Jeerige ). Is butter and cream essential ? (These 2 items are not readily available in the kitchen ). If the salt added is little more , then how to rectify ? 4. Whether to keep the Curd rice in fridge till it is required or not . 4.

i use less milk and more on curd...otherwise we won't feel the sourness
