'Force', the first movement I wrote is purely and simply the energy released from the explosion. The organ illustrates power that is both terrible and mighty and always changing. The effects in this anthem invoke sound waves - glissandos of barometric pressure, dissonance resolving to assonance. Bangs and echoes 'rolling out across the landscape'.
