Yes. All of her moves are so sharp. And Wonyoung deserves some credit for how fluid and easy she makes the dance look. Especially being so tall with such long limbs, which can easily look awkward and take much more control. Gaeul is a powerful dancer, while Wonyoung is elegant.

It’s true that Gaeul and Yujin were the only ones that got the hip isolations down. But i find Gaeul’s arm control kinda messy, not so clear arm placements. Her neck and head coordination is quite awkward as well (at the end of Yujin, Wonyoung and Liz’s chorus lines)
@@thehainote1082 Meanwhile, for me Gaeul's less constricted arm movements enable her to do clearer, fuller, and more extended torso to hip movements, for example at 1:25 and 1:48. It goes for a lot of other movements as well where Gaeul's moves are simply fuller and more well extended than Yujin because of her less constricted arms, which, for me, is the reason Gaeul is definitely the main dancer, whereas I'm pretty sure it's also a big contributing point for everyone that agrees with the main comment. I guess it all depends on our values in dancing.
@@thehainote1082 it seems that gaeul is shaking her whole body including her upper body and shoulders which make the whole move kinda messy and incomplete compared to yujin's who isolates her upper and lower body and keeps her shoulders almost completely still all while doing the hip movements cleanly yet with power. this makes gaeul seem like she has less control over different parts of her body but her movements were still extremely good. with a little practice, she will become flawless. however just now, yujin is the best at the hip movements and most other parts, which is why she is the lead dancer
@@valenyosas btw, i think this is different for different times of the choreo, bc at 1:48 gaeul doesnt necessarily move her arms more freely than yujin. I'd say they're about exactly the same. However at around 1:53 when it's yujins part to sing, its evident that yujin is definitely the one who moves her torso and waist the most. the distance and angle that her waist and torso moves is just uncomparable to the others, who just move a little bit. You'll see it more clearly when u look at gaeul then yujin separately.

Meanwhile, yes it is definitely different on 1:53 where Yujin actually executed the move differently than the rest (she started from her legs then connected and continued the wave all the way to her head, while Gaeul and pretty much the rest of the members moved their right knee and their upper body to the right at the same time, not leg first) thus resulting in her doing a bigger move as a whole. Tbh, I also think Gaeul's skirt in here kinda limits her leg movements as well, but I wouldn't know how much since I don't wear skirts xD

You can't help but appreciate Yujin and Gaeul's dancing. They complete each movement and not just go through the motions. Even on show performances they stand out. It's really fun to watch them both. Leeseo should improve in time and Liz is just so... squishy. Lol. Rei and Wonyoung needs to practice more I think. Overall a pretty good rookie group!

They both good dancers but if we talking about the hip lock move, Yujin does it far better than every member and is constantly clean with it in every performance. Gaeul is second person who does that move well. Anyway we haven’t seen much of Gaeul but she is definitely main dancer material, although I wouldn’t be surprised if Yujin was given main dancer role as she dances really well too. Although too powerful at times …
gaeul is the best dancer, but this choreo suits yujin the most. it highlights yujin's strengths in flexibility and flowy movements, especially when she does body waves and the arm movements are so fluid. gaeul is really hitting all the technical movements and she's definitely experienced, you can tell - she's so comfortable and effortlessly hitting all the smallest details. since both gaeul and yujin are the best, i noticed that yujin is more fluid and great at extending feminine movements. whereas gaeul's strengths lie in putting power in even the tiniest details. gaeul would definitely shine in hiphop style.
tbh I thought Wonyoung and Yujin would steal the spotlight because of them being ex-IZ*ONE members, but I'm surprised the other members caught my attention, now I think my bias is Gaeul 😩
Starship surprisingly knows how to handle GIRL groups with ex produce members well. They don’t try to push the produce members too much and promote other members just as much too. This might be the reason why WJSN is still thriving.
Well they stole the spotlight, everyone saw this group only Wonyoung and Yujin. It's sad that GAEUL is the most underatted member. Starship gave him very few and repetitive parts :(

Most of the time, Gaeul's moves are more full and more extended than Yujin - that alone wins it for me. Sometimes Yujin has better timing, better dynamics, etc. but a lot of the times - compared to Gaeul - she seems stiff; that's my personal summary of them as a dancer myself and why I agree with the comment, that Gaeul executes the moves the best and Yujin follows.
As a dancer, I must say that Liz impresses me a lot because she has a very good mobility and fluidity (like you can see with her hands for example) I can just stan her most! Edit : Also, personally, I prefer Yujin performance because she is sharp, very energic even powerful
I'm glad that the comments are full of Gaeul and Yujin's dancing. They deserve it. But I'm also gonna talk about how Liz nailed this choreography. She adds extra moves to some parts or rather executes the choreography properly (see 1:16). She's also one of the few who did the hip thrust, and she's very expressive 👌💖I'm guessing she'll be part of the dance line as well.
I love how everyone is starting to notice Gaeul’s talent plus giving her lots of compliments and appreciating her dancing skills. Please continue keeping an eye on her in the near future. Also props to all the other members for nailing the performance. They all did well!
I think Gaeul, Yujin, and Liz's dancing skills shines the most in this choreography. They're all excellent dancers and they're still growing. I will be here to witness this growth! The fact that i treat them as my children, though im 20 but i feel so old 😭
They're all good dancers!! 😍😍 I'm just concerned on their skirt's length 😕 Their choreo requires them to sit down a lot and make big movements, yet their skirts are sooo short you can see their undershorts. Please protect them Starship, they're teenagers. A bit of length wouldn't hurt 🤕 Dress them more comfortably so they can enjoy their performance better.

Yujin has the best musicality, good dynamic, better angle & locking, hip-control, coordination and solid facial expression Gaeul has better arm strength and more fluidity on torso Yujin can be a main dancer (technique wise) but I don't think they will have an official main dancer. And I won't mind at all. Their team work and stage presence are good, the choreography is good and the song is addictive too. what a great debut!! Let's active for a long long time~
i think it’s much better that they don’t have official roles, like main or lead dancers (applies to the vocal positions as well), because they don’t have to be ranked according to their skills. they’re all so talented and they don’t need labels to prove that.

Gaeul also said that Yujin is so good at dancing so she always guide and give them feedback (which means she is good enough to teach other members) Leeseo also said Yujin is really good at dancing. Which means there's NO MAIN DANCER in the team. ofcourse they can do something better than one another but at the end of the day. NO ONE is a main dancer or even a main vocalist of the group (even though we all knew Liz and Yujin are the best at singing) And that's FACT. Yujin and Gaeul are arguable the best dancer. Everyone can say they're the dancer of the group. Even so I find Yujin's technique overall is better, or at least for now like I said at the top. If you look closely, especially at the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 part, the hardest part in the song technique wise. Gaeul's arms/left hand and shoulder where so awkward, her hip control lack coordination compare to Yujin who obviously got more control and better angle/composition. However, overall they're not far from each other. they both have strong point and weakness and this is not even my point. The point is there's no official main position in IVE. (And if you talk about being the center. Yujin just got the center position in their dance break on KBS Gayo so...)

For me, this is only my ranking 1.Gaeul (Detailed and Sharpness, I love her executed and do every details) 2. Yujin (Powerful and Impact, she knows how to punished the audience by her dance but still needs more technique to detailed) 3. Liz (Impact and energetic, close to Yujin, she still needs more technique but I love her stage presents ) 4. Leeseo (Very good at facial expressions, she surprised me a lot of things. I can tell that Gaeul is really the main dancer, it’s just hard to move and dance using the sandals she’s wearing in this video that‘s why she lacks a little bit of power but I’m happy that she can still stand out either way
Gaeul surely is their main dancer. She’s sharp and consistent throughout the song. Really great body lines and angle(could’ve been improved in some parts tho). Dynamics and timing are perfect.
Personally I think Yujin did the best out of all of them in this comparison. Gaeul was great as well and I tried to focus on her but my eyes just keeps going to Yujin. Imo, she really just did better than Gaeul when it comes to stage presence, expressions, angles and just dancing in overall (for this fancam only). But that's not to say that Gaeul is not main dancer material or anything like that, my point is just that this comparison better showcases how great of a dancer Yujin is and that it's obvious that she has way more experience in this field by doing her best even though this is just a fancam performance.
Gaeul and Yujin are such powerful dancers but do it in different ways, Yujin gets her power in her hits and energy, but Gaeul gets hers from the small details and her confidence

I see a lot of comments about Yujin and Gaeul but personally I was mesmerized by Liz. Her dancing, facial expression and her pretty outfit really had my attention.
Yujin definitely got that energy and hit where it needs to be. Her angles are clean and textures that emphasizes the dance move to make them look bigger. Her facials are great as well. She knows how to move and make the dance pop which makes her stand out from everyone. Gaeul is next to Yujin and then Liz 3rd for me. Liz is a soft dancer compare to Yujin, but she knows when to add textures and focuses on minor details from time to time. If she have that burst of energy then she'll definitely look a lot more powerful.
Yujin's dance is the most energetic and powerful.. her movements is rich .. every part of her body moves fluidly.. and of all the members she is the only with movements which maximizes space.. some of them only makes small movements in the dance

Hip thrust comparisons. 0:481:402:30. I'm a fan of Gaeul but i think Yujin does the move just a little better (maybe she's just taller). That's probably why she got the focus in the MV. I like them all. They're becoming super popular.
My ranking for dancing in IVE 1. Gaeul- Powerful and precise 2.Yujin- Can nail every move and is very consistent 3. Leeseo- Can slightly nail the hip thrust. Good movements, but not very consistent 4. Liz- Moves are quite powerful but she can do better for the hip thrust 5. Wonyoung- Consistent energy, moves are clean and elegant but are not very powerful 6. Rei- Her moves aren’t really that powerful and she is not very consistent with her energy

I’m actually surprised at how wonyoung was a much better dancer back in IZ*ONE (she was a lead dancer). Now she concerns too much about looking pretty. She cuts so many details and is constantly off-beat… 😨
this comsec alone is the most i've seen people talk about yujin's dancing and that says a lot, main dancer or not idec honestly i'm just happy she's finally being recognized and appreciated for her talent for once, this hidden gem isn't hidden anymore and i'm all for it.
0:47 the hand and head movement and 0:53 the hip lock movements are keys to showcase whose are the dance lines. Gaeul is definitely main dancer material (if she's not Main Dancer already!!), Yujin is also amazing with those fluid and detailed movements. Rei, Liz and Leeseo with a year stage experience will be an ACE for sure. Tbh Woonyoung needs to forget about how her hair looks like though out the dance and let loose a little. I notice from many of IVE performance, she didn't shake her head / Make a very subtle head movements. But maybe that's because she's the visual and needs to be mindful of how she looks? Idk.
Gaeul is clearly the main dancer from what we have seen so far. But Yujin is definitely the lead dancer- and this choreo really suits her dance style. Her charisma is everything 😍
The song is literally phenomenal with the style they give but the individuals they dance like it's their own vision giving us their own charms it's what we want to see members showing their own color into one
GAEUL’S ANGLES!!! she is just perfection!! I also think that liz is a great lead dancer, there’s room for improvement, but her angles and execution are very nice as well!
In 2:23, you can see Gaeul has an inner pop. The way she turned around is soo smooth with pop locks. In the overall performance, she has the best dynamics. No underdancing, no overdancing.

this ranking is only based on my judgement; 1. Yujin (detailed, really powerful but still precise, good dynamic, has the best angle/ composition and hip control, imo her dance is the cleanest, AND her facial expressions *chef's kiss*) 2. Gaeul (effortlessly hitting even the smallest details, has great technique, her dance is sharp and detailed, has better arm strength and more fluidity but her left arm placement during the hip movement is awkward, I can tell her shoes is bothering her but she still slays!) 3. Leeseo (her facial expressions are on point! she's really great in dancing despite her age, would definitely pass as lead dancer, should improvement her feet placement) 4. Wonyoung (I love her very flowy movements even though it looks like she doesn't put power in her movements, she needs more energy and sharpness, I think one of the problem factor is her skirt it's too short) 5. Rei (pretty energetic, she gets stiff and sometimes off in timing) 6. Liz (very lively/energetic but needs more technique, she's not really steady, sometimes I'm concerned that she might stumble) Overall, they are great and there is always a room for improvement. If they have an official main dancer, I can't tell if it's Yujin or Gaeul.

gaeul is the best dancer, but this choreo suits yujin the most. it highlights yujin's strengths in flexibility and flowy movements, especially when she does body waves and the arm movements are so fluid. gaeul is really hitting all the technical movements and she's definitely experienced, you can tell - she's so comfortable and effortlessly hitting all the smallest details. since both gaeul and yujin are the best, i noticed that yujin is more fluid and great at extending feminine movements. whereas gaeul's strengths lie in putting power in even the tiniest details. gaeul would definitely shine in hiphop style.
tbh I thought Wonyoung and Yujin would steal the spotlight because of them being ex-IZ*ONE members, but I'm surprised the other members caught my attention, now I think my bias is Gaeul 😩
Starship surprisingly knows how to handle GIRL groups with ex produce members well. They don’t try to push the produce members too much and promote other members just as much too. This might be the reason why WJSN is still thriving.

Most of the time, Gaeul's moves are more full and more extended than Yujin - that alone wins it for me. Sometimes Yujin has better timing, better dynamics, etc. but a lot of the times - compared to Gaeul - she seems stiff; that's my personal summary of them as a dancer myself and why I agree with the comment, that Gaeul executes the moves the best and Yujin follows.
As a dancer, I must say that Liz impresses me a lot because she has a very good mobility and fluidity (like you can see with her hands for example) I can just stan her most!
Edit : Also, personally, I prefer Yujin performance because she is sharp, very energic even powerful
I'm glad that the comments are full of Gaeul and Yujin's dancing. They deserve it. But I'm also gonna talk about how Liz nailed this choreography. She adds extra moves to some parts or rather executes the choreography properly (see 1:16). She's also one of the few who did the hip thrust, and she's very expressive 👌💖I'm guessing she'll be part of the dance line as well.
I love how everyone is starting to notice Gaeul’s talent plus giving her lots of compliments and appreciating her dancing skills. Please continue keeping an eye on her in the near future. Also props to all the other members for nailing the performance. They all did well!

i think it’s much better that they don’t have official roles, like main or lead dancers (applies to the vocal positions as well), because they don’t have to be ranked according to their skills. they’re all so talented and they don’t need labels to prove that.

Yujin and Gaeul are arguable the best dancer. Everyone can say they're the dancer of the group. Even so I find Yujin's technique overall is better, or at least for now like I said at the top. If you look closely, especially at the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 part, the hardest part in the song technique wise. Gaeul's arms/left hand and shoulder where so awkward, her hip control lack coordination compare to Yujin who obviously got more control and better angle/composition. However, overall they're not far from each other. they both have strong point and weakness and this is not even my point. The point is there's no official main position in IVE.
(And if you talk about being the center. Yujin just got the center position in their dance break on KBS Gayo so...)

Personally I think Yujin did the best out of all of them in this comparison. Gaeul was great as well and I tried to focus on her but my eyes just keeps going to Yujin. Imo, she really just did better than Gaeul when it comes to stage presence, expressions, angles and just dancing in overall (for this fancam only). But that's not to say that Gaeul is not main dancer material or anything like that, my point is just that this comparison better showcases how great of a dancer Yujin is and that it's obvious that she has way more experience in this field by doing her best even though this is just a fancam performance.

She knows how to move and make the dance pop which makes her stand out from everyone. Gaeul is next to Yujin and then Liz 3rd for me. Liz is a soft dancer compare to Yujin, but she knows when to add textures and focuses on minor details from time to time. If she have that burst of energy then she'll definitely look a lot more powerful.

0:47 the hand and head movement and 0:53 the hip lock movements are keys to showcase whose are the dance lines. Gaeul is definitely main dancer material (if she's not Main Dancer already!!), Yujin is also amazing with those fluid and detailed movements. Rei, Liz and Leeseo with a year stage experience will be an ACE for sure. Tbh Woonyoung needs to forget about how her hair looks like though out the dance and let loose a little. I notice from many of IVE performance, she didn't shake her head / Make a very subtle head movements. But maybe that's because she's the visual and needs to be mindful of how she looks? Idk.
Gaeul is clearly the main dancer from what we have seen so far. But Yujin is definitely the lead dancer- and this choreo really suits her dance style. Her charisma is everything 😍

this ranking is only based on my judgement;
1. Yujin (detailed, really powerful but still precise, good dynamic, has the best angle/ composition and hip control, imo her dance is the cleanest, AND her facial expressions *chef's kiss*)
2. Gaeul (effortlessly hitting even the smallest details, has great technique, her dance is sharp and detailed, has better arm strength and more fluidity but her left arm placement during the hip movement is awkward, I can tell her shoes is bothering her but she still slays!)
3. Leeseo (her facial expressions are on point! she's really great in dancing despite her age, would definitely pass as lead dancer, should improvement her feet placement)
4. Wonyoung (I love her very flowy movements even though it looks like she doesn't put power in her movements, she needs more energy and sharpness, I think one of the problem factor is her skirt it's too short)
5. Rei (pretty energetic, she gets stiff and sometimes off in timing)
6. Liz (very lively/energetic but needs more technique, she's not really steady, sometimes I'm concerned that she might stumble)
Overall, they are great and there is always a room for improvement. If they have an official main dancer, I can't tell if it's Yujin or Gaeul.
