These are the worship songs my husband and I worshipped to when we were married and played for our children from the 1st day home from hospital and through out. My daughter plays them for her son. I wore out the cd's. So glad to find them here.
I am at this worship and praise at CFNI, Brayan Peterson is the worship leader, was a great morning, a geat blessing. It seems am there as Informações listen to it. 1986, CFNI, a great blessing in my life and ministry. Hugs to all
Amen and Amen, yes this was and still is real praise and worship music. The Anointing on the CFTN band is evident and it brakes the yoke of pain ,sadness and grieve in one's one life.
Oh My God! I grew up to this album! My mom played this one to death when I was about four years old. She made multiple copies and this album was my childhood. I am nearly 30 years old and I was listening to some vintage Gospel by Jimmy Swaggart and his band before he fell from grace, then I also found Hosanna Music tapes from the 80s. My mom collected everyone one of those and someone posted them on youtube. I found a few tracks like As David Did, and I will sing of the Mercies of the Lord Forever so after typing them in I was blown away and shocked that you have a copy of Lift Up Your Banner when I used to search high and low for a CD version I thought this album was lost forever!
1988 was the year that I got saved. And these songs lift me up to the high praise toward God. And I am still joyful and full of praises even now, bcoz what I have found it cannot be taken away from me. I will rejoice and continue to rejoice until I reached home.......🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹🌹💐💐🌹💐🌹💐
So good! True worship service/ music. I don't like to be negative. I dont think its good to talk negatively about anything in church. But modern worship really lacks authenticity. Bothers me
John I was a student about two years before this recording and those times of praise and worship were so powerful we will just linger the presence of God it seems like forever
Daniel Moore || Thanks, Dan! I may have known you. I was at CFNI from '83-'85. I started in Gordon Lindsay Hall in the room behind the Coke machine next to the pool. When Mom bought and renovated Gordon Lindsay Tower, I moved to GLT 202 and stayed there till graduation. I consider these the best years of my life.
@@nojsc those were great times at the time I didn't know how special they would be for me but now it's I look back in here this wonderful sound from heaven it was really really awesome made really great friends so am I still know some we don't talk as much anymore but I pray that whatever you do and wherever you're at that God continue to use you mightily thank you so much for the upload I probably heard this 20 to 30 times in the last week thank you and God bless you brother
(continued) This worship tape was my first worship tape I really enjoyed. I used to try to sing the songs and mess up the lyrics since I was really young and couldn't figure them out. I would play copies of this tape when I went to bed when I was scared of the dark. I still have two copies of this cassette in a shoebox in my closet. I never got tired of playing it. I gave copies of it to my late grandmother and she loved it. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to find this album and other Christ of the Nations Institute tapes of that era! Talk about a blessing! I still remember the "Student Body of Christ of Nations Institute" greeting before the music started. This just made my day! Christ of the Nations Institute should re-issue these tapes if they still have the master copy onto CD. It has been 20 years since I've heard this album! Thanks and be blessed!
Actually, I am working on another vintage CFNI worship tape at this time; it's from 1987. I'm more than half way through. I'll try to remember to notify you when it is loaded. I'm so glad that you enjoy the one that's up now. God bless!
Thanks for posting! I have five other CFN cassettes, but lost this one years ago and have always wanted to replace it. Blessed to find it by "accident" today.
Thank You soooo much for posting the Christ for the Nations Praise and Worship music.....i went to school there from 1986-1988....and then gruduated...all my music was on cassettes, and i'm sure they are all messed up from being in heat and cool weather in my shed and storages thru the years....Thanks Again and Blessings!!
Oh Thank you so much? I will keep checking back to see when it is loaded. My husband and I enjoy the older praise and worship music. We have been trying to purchase some of the older CFNI cds, but have not been successful. God bless you for taking the time to share.
Thank you so much for this! This was my favor album from Christ for the Nations years ago. It was either lost or worn out and have not been able to locate a copy of it since.
Hello, and thank you for the encouragement! I am so glad that you enjoyed the video illustration of this wonderful worship tape. I do have Side 2 that I am currently working on; it will be several more days before it's ready to upload, not sure how many. In the meantime, you are welcome to the other CFNI videos on my channel. I have uploaded "He Alone Is God," Side One, from 1989, and also the FULL 1-hour tape of "The Lord Reigneth," from 1987. I appreciate your patience on Side 2. --Blessings!
praise be to god " thank you so much for posting the original "man I remember listening to this back in the days. still greater and mighty is the lord our god forever amen
Wow thank you so muchvfor this tape. Back then I was a worship leader in Newberg Oregon. I tought every song off this tape to the church and many others from other tapes. These tapes were such a blessing. I wore them all out.
Thank you so much for uploading this! This used to be one of my favorite tapes back in the 80's. Somewhere along the way it was lost and I haven't heard it in years. Brings back some wonderful memories.. God bless you and thanks again!
John What a wonderful find, I've been searching for these worship tapes since the eighties. Do you know when or where the songs of Abiding in the vine and The Lord is my light and my salvation, one of the best tapes we just happen to find here in Australia
Wow, John, searching for CFNI tapes since the '80s!? I'm so glad that a couple years ago, The Lord started nudging me to upload these worship recordings. In my mind, they're the best! I haven't come across the songs you mentioned, but I'll keep my eyes open for them.
Hello Gilbert. Yes, I think I do have the tape you are looking for, and I expect to make it my next worship video project. You are also able to download this tape (and many others) free of charge at vintageworshiptapes(dot)com/wj.html
Hi Julian, video of this audio recording is not available. In the mid-'80s, only audio of these sessions was recorded. I have found, though, that video of the 1992 recording, "King of Glory," (.../watch?v=bGv0WwL4iLg) and the 1993 recording, "Praise Him All Ye Nations," (.../watch?v=hympyDqsE9g) are both on UA-cam. Rejoice!!
Gilbert, just in case you don't know, I have uploaded "Let GOD Arise," from 1985. It is not the complete audio recording, but I am so glad that we have this much of it -- most of it, in fact. >> youtube(dot)com/watch?v=skBO0-FXvH8
Gilbert, just writing to let you know that the "Let GOD Arise" tape you'll find a vintageworshiptapes(dot)com/wj.html is not the full original recording. It has been renamed "Worship Jesus" and six songs have been removed. Also, the remaining songs have been rearranged. I'm still looking for the full original CFNI release of "Let GOD Arise."
I was there that day, it was not video recorded even though almost everything that happened at the auditorium was recorded. The reason could be not to get in the way of the recording company equipment. I was a cameraman at CFNI, best worship! nice memories!
hey im just wondering whos the original gospel artist of the song JESUS YOU ARE GLORIOUS.. tnx.. and if you have a copy.. can you upload it... i think it was sung by Robert Gay.. not really sure...
