I have read both of these books! I gave 3 stars to The Maidens, just because I had such high hopes after the Silent Patient. With Agatha I am biased as she is my favourite writer, but I agree: And then there were none is number one. :)

Catching up with your vlogs now and it's so fun that I'm watching this video when I'm having a murder mystery phase myself atm. I finished an Agathe Christie book yesterday (The Murder at the Vicarage) and started The Maid by Nita Prose after that.
Ciara, so epic to find this video! 😊❤I am finally getting into the murder mystery world too LOL Murder on the Orient Express. I keep hearing that the ending was anti-climatic. Trying to solve who done killed Cassetti/Ratchett 😅

The Orient Express isn’t so much about the crime or who done it. It’s really about Hercule’s faith being shaken to its core and how this changes him and his perceptions in crime solving going forward. Remember, before he was a detective, he was a priest.
@@dianewalker9154 so interesting!! 😧 I did not know that he was a priest before. At least I didn’t catch that in Orient Express 😂. I definitely agree it seems like Poirot is quite stumped and this mystery is a challenge for him to solve.

There’s actually a crossover between the maidens and the silent patient, alex michaelides seems to be writing his novels in a connnected “universe”. i really liked both but the maidens was really special, i’m excited to hear your review!

Unsure on specific editions but its a Harper Collins edition and I just picked it up in Waterstones so it should be on their website!

Hello again‼️😋 cinnamon roll‼️ I’m gonna wait until November to dive into Agatha hopefully this time no other books will crowd my tbr.
Ps: I finished Cafe Con Lychee it was totally swoon worthy‼️ As for The Nature of Witches I just finished it this morning and it was so good‼️ Last but not least I picked up The Murder of Mr. Wickham as you can tell by the title it’s a spin-off to Pride & Prejudice, but it also includes other Jane Austen characters‼️
November is definitely a great time for Agatha Christie!
