After watching you for the last few months where you played only splashyard, i decided to max splashyard and make it my main. Now you are telling me its a trash deck. Bro wtf💀
Sameeee I'm literally trying to max it out and now your telling me it's bad 💀. There is t really any other youtubers who play splashyard so there's no one to learn from
here is what worked for me: You need to first of all find a good main deck. If you don't pay money to the game, you ideally want to choose a deck that is a) a deck that will work for a very long time (generally, any deck that has been meta for a while, will probably continue to be meta in the future, examples are 2.6 hog, 3.0 xbow, recruits pigs, etc), and b) a deck that has mostly common/rare cards, so that it is easy to upgrade to find a main deck, I would recommend watching youtubers (which you clearly already do), choose a deck that fits the description and test it out, playing in Classic or Grand Challenges is the best way to try out a new deck, however if you don't have gems you can 1v1 a clan member or friend, enter a temporary challenge (Royal Tournaments are good for this), or join a Private Tournament. You want to try out multiple decks that fit my description and pick the one that "feels" the best for you. It would also help to watch the youtube video that you got the deck from, to learn the proper play style for each deck. Once you have chosen a deck, you should focus your entire account on that one deck. This might sound boring but pretty much every top ladder player has to do this to get good enough to break out of midladder. You should only upgrade the cards in that deck, ignore all other cards. After all 8 cards are maxed, then you can focus on others for clan wars or whatever. Don't spend any gold or wild cards, except to upgrade the cards in your deck. I would recommend getting pass royale as it is definitely worth the money but if you don't want to, then make sure to check the shop every day, use trade tokens and card requests to get the cards you need, and complete the crown chest level thing every season (very good rewards here). Spend your gems on Grand and Classic Challenges, the rewards for these are the most value way to spend gems if you are good enough, plus it is a great way to practice your deck on an even playing field. Above all, don't get discouraged when you lose a few games with the deck. Not every matchup is winnable, and the more you practice with a deck, the better you will get. If you pick a common enough deck, then it is easy to find a youtuber who plays it or something similar, if you tell me your deck when you pick one I can give you a recommendation for a youtuber to watch
