Me too, I get tons of Ideas, my Man Cave is upstairs and I had it sound proofed and I definitely did not do the work myself… My room has 88 hue lights and I paint the walls with light, I will make a video…
Nice setup. Super clean and very functional. I've always loved the sound of Klipsch. I have three Klipsch systems in my home. I have several videos on my channel of my Klipsch LaScala Trio Home Theater, my RF7ii 2ch setup and my son's RF7 / RC64 bedroom setup. It's a slippery slope. Keep rockin
I almost gave away an older PC before I watched this video! Now I will be moving it to my HT room and installing it on the open rack with my AVR and UHD player. Your room turned out great and thanks for the tips!!
My mom and I are setting one of these up in our new basement when we move:) mainly for basketball and football season but the theater could be used year round for simple movies as well.
Very nice! My house came with a finished basement and a bar, but it is really dated. I've added my touches over the years including a new Projector (also an Optoma) and 100" screen. You've given me inspiration to update it, especially the flooring, lighting, seating and a bathroom.
No need to go to a Bar or the Movies,..you got the double whammy package, that Set up is not so Awesome but Disgustingly Super Awesome !!...Kev you are a deadset Genius...
First time I’ve seen this video, that is an outstanding job I would be extremely happy if that was my play cave, don’t know if you have changed anything since, but I would only add 2 things that being a hot dog roller and a pin ball machine and that’s it hope your enjoying it thanks for showing this gem 💎
I like the bar area; the brick wall, the beer mirror (I would of done Coors Light instead of Guinness) and the countertop with the beer tabs. I would of put in 2 tabs. One for my Coors Light, and the other for my dad's Miller when he comes over.
Truly amazing work. I want to buy a storage unit and do this. Would love to do a sports bar in the back. That just gives it a whole new area. Great job.
VERY NICE SIR!!! I LOOK @ VIDEOS LIKE THIS JUST TO GET IDEAS, BECUZ IN THE FUTURE AFTER I GET MARRIED, I PLAN TO BUY A HOUSE WITH A LOFT. A LOFT WITH 3 SIDES OF THE HOUSE, & I WILL TURN THAT LOFT INTO AN ARCADE AREA, A VIP LOUNGE AREA, & A HOME THEATER CINEMA!!!
I think for home theater seats I would like to go with the whole 4DX set up. If anybody hasn't experienced that yet. Imagine being in a theater where you actually feel like you are inside the movie. I am not talking about VR, although that would be a pretty cool bonus, but more like the seats move, 3d glasses, and you have a set up for high pressure air spray or water mist for those action scenes where you want to feel the bullets flying and such. It's a real badass set up movies are just not the same after you have experienced it. I would imagine playing your favorite video games would be badass as well with that set up.
Yo nice mancave, working on mine at the moment and looking watching vids for ideas. I'm originally from the Buffalo area, I could tell you are too by the Sabres and Yankees stuff. Awesome mancave.
First off Well done ! seriously the room looks great! awesome to see the difference before and after and the room is just clean ! also the bar has a great look Reminds me of an Irish pub. Im a HI-fi and Home theater enthusiast with a Degree in audio engineering so now I must share my knowledge and give criticisms and questions but they're meant to be constructive 1st why did you layout the theater width wise? would have been better to get the Screen down at the end of the room where the bar is 2nd I would suggest pointing the center speaker up a little its to low or behind the screen at ear level if the screen is acoustically transparent? 3rd your rear surrounds are not only to high up but they are pointed at an angle which basically hits the screen and not the sides of your head like it should they should also be at ear level as well now obvious i don't have all the info on your room and limitations so If that explains why you did what you did then there you go as far as why People would spend $3000 or more on a projector is Deeper black levels Brighter whites higher luminous picture 10 or 12 bit color over the standard 8 bit basiclly going from 16 million colors to over 1 Billion HDR 4K
I did it width wise because I wanted the bar against the brick wall. Also if I did it length wise, it would take up the whole room. I have since tilted the center channel. I know on the rears. I really should lower them but just have not had the chance. I will probably replace them at some point with smaller speakers. They stick out from the wall to far. I also understand why people spend more, but I guess my point is there is no need to. The picture in my opinion looks good and I would buy the same projector if I had to do it again. I appreciate the feedback. I am still learning and its nice to get some input from folks that have done this before.
Wao this is really awesome...the only thing I wanted to know is how is the sound going upstairs like when you are watching movie or listening to the music because its an open ceiling which I really like and im curious because im about to start my basement and also want open ceiling but not sure about the sound that goes up...
love your setup. working on something similar...can you please tell me the width of your space and ceiling height. this looks amazing. im working on a small space , but i am trying to get the most out of it
This is awesome would you be able to tell me how you did the shelving behind the bar I am in the process of a similar space and am doing a 8-ft wide bar and I have 6 ft of depth to work with the bar will probably take two feet away of depth so I already had a popcorn machine and I don't want to get rid of it and I would like to put it up either on a shelf which will probably be easier or build the whole shelving like you have there for glasses bottles popcorn machine etc how difficult was that to do and I would like to still have space to walk through there at least two and a half feet.
if you dont mind me asking, what brand is that pump that you are using for the sewage pump. Thanks in advance. Great set up by the way, really love what you did with the bar area.
awsome setup, so funny cause i have all your speakers excluding r-15m , i got the r-14m instead. i also have your receiver too lol. i am also planning on buying another sub.
I have a pretty awesome home bar/man cave. Billiards, darts, home theater, the works. but the thing that gets the most oohs and ahhhs is the urinal....lol
Very nice set up and excellent video. A few things, first a more expensive receivers will get you more speaker hook ups. I basically have what you have now, a newer Yamaha receiver but mine is not atmos ready. If I go atmos, I want it to be 7.2.4, but for that at minimum I am looking at $1000. Could you give more information about the shelf that your center channel is sitting on. I have done something similar. I installed a floating shelf from Amazon to hold my center channel. But even with the bracket being screwed into the studs it still angles downward. Does your shelf have a bracket that is L-shaped that keeps the shelf level? At some point can you show a video with your screen up so we can see the TV behind it. I just installed a projector and screen, but I did not want a pulldown screen, I wanted a fixed frame screen. I put my Panasonic plasma and a sound bar on a rolling cart. I roll the cart in front of the screen for normal use.
Here is the name of the center channel shelf: OmniMount ECSB Component Shelf Wall Shelf for TVs and Video Accessories It holds it at an even pitch, so I am happy with it. I will get a video together of behind the screen. The plan is to put up some smaller Tvs to the right of the 60 and one of those electric fireplaces... Do you have a video of your setup?
Hey do you think If I purchased the optima projector that my cable could be attached to it? Really think about putting one in my room. Also how did you get it to hang from the ceiling?
Well done. Doing a build in our main living room here in the upcoming months. Got to ask, where did you get the couches? Or what brand are they? They are perfect, and i love that you can fold away the trays and have a normal couch you can lay on. Need.
they are from a store called Raymour and Flanigan here in Western New York. I needed one that I could lay on and they do the trick. they are not as comfortable as a regular couch but they are good enough.
From what i can tell, this seems to be the same couch yeah? www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W9BYICO/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A213J2DNVR8GRC
I have a saniFlo in my basement it’s a lot better then digging into concreate 1 question I have my pedestal sink tied into the tank and toilet on yours I don’t see that did you run separate line
I can't get enough of these videos. Yours is another one that I got sucked into. Sweet set, man!
Me too, I get tons of Ideas, my Man Cave is upstairs and I had it sound proofed and I definitely did not do the work myself… My room has 88 hue lights and I paint the walls with light, I will make a video…
The Reel Frame of Mind Yes separate lookup man

great home theater. Very informative video. Well explained. A definite must see for anyone who plans on building a mancave at any level!
My mom and I are setting one of these up in our new basement when we move:) mainly for basketball and football season but the theater could be used year round for simple movies as well.
Looks incredible!!! Amazing work, esp with your bar area! Classy indeed!
Very nice! My house came with a finished basement and a bar, but it is really dated. I've added my touches over the years including a new Projector (also an Optoma) and 100" screen. You've given me inspiration to update it, especially the flooring, lighting, seating and a bathroom.
Very well done dude, that bar is Drop dead Gorgeous..... Just the Tease
Theaters good too,, !!
No need to go to a Bar or the Movies,..you got the double whammy package, that Set up is not so Awesome but Disgustingly Super Awesome !!...Kev you are a deadset Genius...

Man this man cave is probably the best I've have seen. Great job
First time I’ve seen this video, that is an outstanding job I would be extremely happy if that was my play cave, don’t know if you have changed anything since, but I would only add 2 things that being a hot dog roller and a pin ball machine and that’s it hope your enjoying it thanks for showing this gem 💎

Great build and even better that it was done by yourself. just proves you don't have to spend a ton of money to have a great cave
OUTSTANDING setup man!! Congrats!
I love the open ceiling, I think that's the route I'm going to go in my basement as well!
Truly amazing work. I want to buy a storage unit and do this. Would love to do a sports bar in the back. That just gives it a whole new area. Great job.

Anthony Niroshan Yes room in my heart negotiations

This is so perfect and not overdone. My only suggestion is get rid of the projector and get an OLED
You did a super job on your set up. It must be nice to be as handy as you are.
Best, Tom Pennock
Very creative ideals I love the look
Yo nice mancave, working on mine at the moment and looking watching vids for ideas. I'm originally from the Buffalo area, I could tell you are too by the Sabres and Yankees stuff. Awesome mancave.
Awesome use of space. Great job man.
Nice set up...simple and to the point.
Would love to see the plans for building your bar especially the 2by4 framing
nice setup :) i like how you got the bar to blend in with theater :)
wow...awesome job, you could do this for a living.
Awesome cave dude!!! So jealous
Nice work!!!! Looks fantastic.
Very well done. The bar looks great
YO man lots of work and a very nice job....i love it.
First off Well done ! seriously the room looks great!
awesome to see the difference before and after and the room is just clean !
also the bar has a great look Reminds me of an Irish pub.
Im a HI-fi and Home theater enthusiast
with a Degree in audio engineering
so now I must share my knowledge and
give criticisms and questions but they're meant to be constructive
1st why did you layout the theater width wise? would have been better to get the Screen down at the end of the room where the bar is
2nd I would suggest pointing the center speaker up a little its to low or behind the screen at ear level if the screen is acoustically transparent?
3rd your rear surrounds are not only to high up but they are pointed at an angle which basically hits the screen and not the sides of your head like it should they should also be at ear level as well
now obvious i don't have all the info on your room and limitations so If that explains why you did what you did then there you go
as far as why People would spend $3000 or more on a projector is
Deeper black levels
Brighter whites
higher luminous picture
10 or 12 bit color over the standard 8 bit basiclly going from 16 million colors to over 1 Billion
HDR
4K

Kobievids
oh ok. Must be awesome to have friends over to drink and watch anything ! For the rears you could always put the in the wall or ceiling to
Wao this is really awesome...the only thing I wanted to know is how is the sound going upstairs like when you are watching movie or listening to the music because its an open ceiling which I really like and im curious because im about to start my basement and also want open ceiling but not sure about the sound that goes up...
Nice build 👌

great job just wondering what the overhang on the bar was for seating clearance and did you say the bar top was pine on the plywood
awsome setup, so funny cause i have all your speakers excluding r-15m , i got the r-14m instead. i also have your receiver too lol. i am also planning on buying another sub.
Hi. What What Spray did you use to cloud the plexiglass? It definelty makes the led light look great!

I can eat a bucket of popcorn :( The bag is a tease. I love the bar!
Good job man. I love the setup...
I am glad all the devices you described in this video are now way cheaper 😂
Black felt cover for the back of the receiver and component shelves. You can do each section. And for goodness sake clean those wires up!! 😜
looks awesome, great use of space
I have a pretty awesome home bar/man cave. Billiards, darts, home theater, the works. but the thing that gets the most oohs and ahhhs is the urinal....lol
