Today you covered another interesting region. As you mentioned the frankfurt international airport: in the southwest of the airport the image at 1:13 clearly displays the runway practically cut into the former forest region. In my youth when construction of the additional runway was planned there were strong protests against this "Startbahn West". The outcome of this unsuccessful protests had an influence on the founding of a new political party called the greens („Die Grünen“). Ironcally this party is today part of the government of Germanys federal state Hessen which covers the north east part of the section featured in this episode.
