I just finished watching this series tonight and just discovered your post not long after. My impression of the series is that it's a good show. I agree with what you said. It's not for everyone. This show was all about 5 girls discovering their most intimate desires and coming to terms with it. The anime clearly depicted what the girls were going through and how they handled it. Kazusa Onodera had liked Izumi Norimoto all along but because she was ostracized by the other girls back in junior high, she didn't had the courage to tell him how she truly felt. The night of the school festival finally made sure of their feelings for each other. We've got Rika Sonezaki, the club's president. To her juniors, she was the most firm believer that sex and love are taboo and boys are savage and the least they expected to change. And yet, she's the one who truly gets to experience falling in love and declaring her love for Shun Amagi in front of everyone. Really great character development and I liked how she changed her looks. She became even prettier in the end. There's Niina Sugawara, the school beauty. I think she's the most open when it comes to telling what she really feels. While Kazusa struggles to understand her feelings for Izumi, she clearly says to Kazusa she likes Izumi and will confess to him her feelings. She's not shy about it. We've got Momoko Sudō, the yuri girl. Although not much was focused on her, the anime clearly showed how she finally accepted her true feelings. She tried dating a boy, didn't really enjoy it. The boy clearly thought she was his girlfriend but she flatly outright denied it. She came to terms with her sexuality and I applaud her for it. Lastly, we've got Hitoha Hongō. She's so desperate to be recognized as a true writer, she's willing to seduce her teacher to experience what sex is all about. Clearly her teacher isn't interested in her but was willing to entertain her. Thanks to his guidance, Hitoha at least learned a lesson or two about love and sex. I like how she's portrayed towards the end. At first she was only interested in seducing her teacher but after some time, she's come to respect him and develop feelings for him. Although he's not interested in her now, she's not going to give up. Someday, her feelings will get through to him. She even prepared a script on how they're going to be married in the end! Kudos to Sonoe Jūjō, the gyaru girl. She was really open about her relationship and eventually formed a friendship with Rika. I liked how she was very much interested to know about The Little Prince. She became a good mother in the end. I goes to show never judge a book by its cover. And this is what this anime was all about. Don't judge these girls because they're naive when it comes to exploring topics such as love and sex. Get to know them even better and you'll see they're not as clueless as you think they are.
ah whatever. just look at that American Pie example. portrays highschoolers in explicit situations, which major Nadia Fanservice. if that's fine, the anime doing the same thing is fine. ?why do we have to feel 'creepy' about Anime doing it yet not about live actors? that's some backwards double standard.
This is a great video.
Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it! XD

Hello? Have you hidden my other comment?
*I* have not. I don't know why your comment isn't showing.
