Exactly how I do mine, and it's a coleman 263BH.. Works fine for the last 4 years. One thing funny, though, I never found my low point drains until this this😂😂... For all the searching I did, nowhere I could see it. Finally, one day next to the rear step, Bam!
I like to open all the faucets valves after I am done, just in case some water is trapped in the valve (ask me how I know). Just remember to close them in the spring before you turn your pump on!
Great simple video. What if you have an on demand system? And I have a travel trailer but it's permanently situated on site septic and all. Do you close black and gray water valves or leave them open?
Thanks for video. My camper is tad easier since all the valves is outside so I don't have to take panels off. But sad day I had to winterize and button up camper for the season. Sad day indeed. At my campsight people charges upwards of 200 to do this process. Not sure why people don't learn to do it as not that much work to complete the task
I'am experiencing leaking outside the camper when winterizing its coming out of the fresh water spout where the garden hose goes just started doing this my 2nd year with the Lantern 17B didnt do it last year did this ever happen to you any help would be grateful
Maybe try taking the screen off the city water hose connection inlet and press the little button. That will open the check valve and depressurize the line. ?? Never had this issue on ours. Good luck
Thanks for this. Many campers think it's harder than it really is.
You bet!
easy thx!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Ya just saved me over $100 taking it to Camping World. 👍

You should always put the battery on some sort of charger over the winter
We do. Good point!
How do you know the batteries for these things aren't cheap?

How much antifreeze did you use? Do you put it in the hot water tank. Thanks
3 bottles. We drain the tank. No antifreeze. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@Thecampingloop no water or antifreeze in the hot water tank that stays dry for winter
Just treated my 21 bunkhouse: Coleman.
The dealer gets to do it this year. The new one is already winterized so I got a year to figure it out.
That was traded, not treated

Thanks! Not positive on the on demand system but I’m sure there is a video out there. Good luck. Also shut the valves in the off season

It’s very easy to do. And yes it’s always a sad day closing up. Thanks for watching!
