Charlie Parker was an incredible musician, he was like the Bach of bebop. He really understood keys and how they related, and the way he moved so quickly, but when you break it down, it fits so perfectly and makes all the sense in the world.

It would be, though practice slowly then faster when your comfortable. I play bass clarinet and tenor saxophone, the fingerings for saxophone is definitely easier. With the exception of when I want to do clarinet fingerings since I’ve only had the sax since November. Though when looking at the notes for this lick I was moving my fingers in the air as if I was playing my bass clarinet, then proceeded to do C for the sax fingering instead of clarinet. At least I rarely mix up fingerings when the instruments are in my hands

Good idea. Quite a few similar licks can be gathered from Parker's 1942 impros on Cherokee, especially in the bridge with its succession of
    2 5 1s.
A thought: that was exactly 80 years ago.
Now imagine you're living in 1942 and listening to music that was current in 1862.
