- Space shuttle Endeavour was bolted to its external tank and twin solid rocket boosters on March 1. This "mating" took place in the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida following the orbiter's move from its processing hangar. Endeavour is slated to rollout to Launch Pad 39A next week for STS-134, its final flight. During the 14-day mission, Endeavour's six astronauts will deliver to the International Space Station the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a particle physics detector designed to search for various types of unusual matter by measuring cosmic rays. The crew also will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier 3, a platform that carries spare parts that will sustain station operations once the shuttles are retired later this year. Endeavour's launch is targeted for April 19.
Flip it and attach! What awesome stuff! Majestic feat of human ingenuity and engineering.
Never again shall such a shuttle be lifted... immortalized forever, in 480p...
Seriously guys, 720p video cameras aren't that expensive anymore.
Shuttle program seems so long ago but we have UA-cam videos in very clear footage of the program…
Also, endeavor did a great job on her “new” mission over in California!
if i were to look at this day and age from a 50's retrospect our world would seem so futuristic but we look at it as mediocre and in 20 years we would look back at this day and age and be amazed of what we accomplished with so little
...unfortunately i'll never make my dream come true but...thanks god we've got net so you can make me happy by putting this kind of video :)
Would love to have ANY of their jobs.
"So how was your day at work today honey?"
"Oh it was good. We attached the orbiter to the fuel tank for it's final historic mission."
Great videos
truly awesome
Wow, that's amazing!
Is the shuttle program stopping all togheter? I thought only Discovery was due for its last mission.
@Viperzz21 Space Shuttle Endeavour will launch on April 19 @ 7:48 P.M. Eastern Standard Time & 6:48p.m. Central Time.
Even better if it was HD.
Yeah! Endeavour will retire in L.A. I just hope it survives it´s last flight.
@melshane23 Thank's! :)
when is it launching into the dark matter?

For some reason, I liked the color of the booster covers and wondered what the words were on them. Did an epic google search and came to that link. Awesome.
Cool yo
it does look run down and dirty
Hey NASA can you build Star Ship Enterprise right now no more space shuttle just build the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-D. :-)
I 3 Endeavour
Wish they'd reconsider retiring the fleet until the next Gen of vehicles are ready. What if an emergency launch is needed.....The Soyuz can only hold so many people.
I love watching the launches. missions, and landings. NASA junkie.
Must get rid of it to fund bagpiper benefits.
Hey!,Boys, Whatsapp?, i am Daniel Garcia, the beginning of the United States of America or NortAmerica, and my from is in Guadalupe Nuevo Leon Mexico, in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, and i like this bird, is a Wonderfull bird.Okay boys i see you letter again.
Integration must be a nightmare.
Oops, I meant to say I heart endeavor:)
@helpafrica it costs too much
Looks dirty, needs a good wax. :P
Its a shame that these are being retired. I don't think people realize that they are wasting their lives, being in gangs, doing violence, or being a criminal at all. and then you look at this and think "wow this thing goes over 5000mph into space. And people live up there. Its a shame that more people don't realize how important this program is to mankind.
It's sad that such a machine is being retired without an even more remarkable machine to replace it. What has happened to our ingenuity, our thirst for knowledge, and our ambition to conquer the stars?
One more and then I dont have a job. Thanks very much President Worthless
