I don’t think you’re making a good faith argument if you genuinely think the lyrical variety is the exact same as wap
I’d also say that the production is pretty different from what either of them had done before, since it leans heavy into Brazilian funk. they obviously didn’t invent the idea of rapping over Brazilian funk, but I don’t remember either of them having a song similar to this production wise

I'm not a Cardi B fan, nor do I even care for her in general, but Nicki is a narcissist. A narcissist demands you kiss the ring, but even after you do it, they'll throw shade at you when you do the smallest thing they don't like (or do better than them). They'll always seek offense and find it in everything. So, even if Nicki worked with Cardi, she'd be right back hating on her later. Notice that the only girls she keeps around her are ones who've sworn fealty to her.
