I’ve become so enthused and interested in shaving because of geo. I find myself buying brushes to try out the different types, razors, blades, even lather bowls! I can honestly say I don’t feel bad or guilty about any of it either. This man has spread his love of shaving to myself and probably plenty of others. What once was a chore and boring task has now since opened my eyes to what some may call a forgotten art. I am never going back to a cartridge razors.

I just got a Fatip Grande OC and slanted models to test out. I really like them both. They are very close to the perfect touch if you handle them without too much pressure. I hate the curly handle on slanted (changed it to something else) but the gun metal handle has very nice feel a grip even if it is not textured.
That is a manufacturer to try out if you have not yet.

Hmm looks good Geo and at least you get a choice of blade guards giving you a little room to play with eh? Have you tried my pre-shave routine yet with Thayers witch hazel? am waiting to see what you think. Just to remind you - wet face apply a splash of Thayers witch hazel plus some either Edwin Jagger pre-shave lotion/cream or Proraso pre-shave work into beard/whiskers leave while you are lathering up and then shave. Oh and finish off with the alum block then some more Thayers witch hazel of course, and then finish off with your choice one of aftershave I don't use any myself as I love the smell of the Thayers medicated witch hazel which fortunately I bought a stock of before they stopped making it, but plain Thayers is ok.

Hi Geo! Here's a tip from a FaTip user. Regulate the aggressiveness of the razor by taking advantage of the thin cap pins and the blade wiggle room. Having one side more exposed grants a more aggressive shave, useful for removal of the bulk of the stubble, and leaves a much gentler side for touch ups or more delicate areas!
Tell me what you think about this tip
Have a great day! Awesome video!

I feel the Shark blades are as good as the Feather and waaaay cheaper... also quite cheaper than the Bic... As for the Fatip... definitively my kind of razor (retro grande open comb in my case)... But be aware that parts of the gun metal finish on the head often comes off even with good care...
