Extaordinaire''
John was never known for hot guitar playing but he was one of the most intriguing songwriters in all of blues. He wrote a song about his lawyer, one about his mechanic, and one about the teenage girl next door who used to tease him by telling him about her erotic dreams. Amazing, wonderful stuff...one of the greatest poets in all of blues.
Hey brother! Would you mind to give me the names for that three song you talked about? Im curious :D I want to take a heard of that rough stuff

mechanic- Vassie Williams
Lawyer- Lawyer Clark

That take of "Hey Baby" by John Henry Barbee has eluded me for almost 15 years. There was another high quality recording of him (pretty sure from the 1964 tour) that has long been deleted. I believe he was solo sitting about where Hammie Nixon was in a similar setting. Maybe I'm wrong or just losing my mind, but that recording must still exist somewhere. He was definitely playing that 3 pickup Rocket and I know Lighntin' Hopkins was in the lineup.
There Is no better than this. Thanks for passing it on.
HE,S THE MAN WITH HIS BUDDY,NEARLY AS GOOD AS YOU AND KEN ,THANK YOU JIM ,,,,,,
Some foot stompin' good playin', to bad we don't have a name for that player, & that's a mighty fine guitar with six knobs, anyone know what make it is? And what's Hammie doing with that bottle, playing bass on it?
