Veni Daana Pooja in Prayagraj Triveni Sangam. During a Hindu marriage, the couple promise to spend seven lifetimes together. This promise is further gets strengthened by Veni Daan. All the rituals performed during the marriage are carried out once again during Veni Daana.
At important places like Kashi, Prayagraj and Gaya, it is suggested that we perform Kshetra Vidhi or the rituals as suggested in the scriptures for that place and region. At Prayagraj, the rituals are Veni Daan and Shraadh.
Shraddha is a ritual done to please our forefathers. Veni Daana is a ritual performed wit the wife praying for long life for her husband. It is a unique ritual performed only at Prayagraj and nowhere else.
