Do you know if there is a way for the radio to announce what the quiet talk settings are? I want to find this out

Secret Squirrel yeah, I still can't get my other radios to work with it unfortunately. The Kenwood just won't pick up the signal even though the QT settings are the same. May be my baofeng which is the issue.

hi, I'm wondering if you can help me. I seem to have locked my radio somehow (confession: got it used and without instructions... and I love to press buttons when figuring how to work things), don't really know how. I have searched online for a solution and have still to find one. There is a manual with instructions for a hard reset, tried those, but they didn't work... I'm desperate because I need it for work.
    Thanks!

Isabel Martin del Campo To reset the transceiver with the transceiver power off, press and hold the PTT switch, the Up key and the Down key while turning the transceiver power ON . Continue to hold the keys for 2 seconds, until the LED indicator lights yellow. 2. Release the keys. . The transceiver announces “confirm” and returns to normal operation . . If the keys are released before the LED indicator light yellow All Reset mode will cancel. Hope this helps

Thanks so much for your help!! I kinda gave up and asked the school's IT dept. for help... Took them a couple days, but they just got back to me saying they fixed it. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer :)
