Looking at my diff lock switch (U1300L) Position 0 - no diff lock, no 4wd Position 1 - no diff lock, 4wd Position 2 - front + rear diff lock, 4wd How do you make it lock the rear only in 4wd?
Honestly what is the point of only locking the rear axle if I can lock both axles including the distributor gear so that I have 25% of the power on each wheel In addition, 1. the all-wheel drive and the lock-out are 2. only intended on slippery terrain
@@MrFialdark The only real reason to lock the rear only is for maximum drive while still being able to steer. In a normal 4x4 it is sometimes a good thing, with a Mog... Well you don't need to be subtle. 🤣
@@MrFialdark Sure it is. If you drive up mudy hill and you have corners you want front lock out as much as possible. Or you will just push out of the corner. I drive in deep slick mud a lot. I removed front locker and put LSD in. I want to turn and still have some drive on both front tires. With lockers you have only 2 option: open diff or locked. And they do not unlock under load..so you need to go off gas to unlock....your forward momentum goes to hell.
